Wow! Just looked again at the paperwork and nowhere is there a tick box for 'No' ...then underneath it states 'We STRONGLY recommend you take out this cover'

There is no mention of St. Andrews that I can see? ...and I answered no to several of your above bullet points.

Thank you so much, all this is being posted recorded on Monday!!

Do you have the policy, another failure of MNBA, they did not send out policies. GO GET YOUR MONEY BACK

If it is St Andrews insurance group, then they are a dodgy part of the even more dodgy Lloyds Banking Group, incest between banks out to steal your money

It's a vague application form, only one page with T's & C's in ultra small print on the left had side. There is no paperwork with regards to the PPI, just a small paragraph and the 'Yes' tick box

  • Does anyone know how long MBNA takes from sending a offer letter to actually sending the cheque? On my letter it says 28 days, but thought it may be sooner.

  • LLoyds PPI from 1996 and 1999
    Hi
I have had a few loans in the past with PPI added. Two of the loans were with Lloyds Bank one was opened circa 1996 and the other in 1999. I had the opening statements from the 1999 loan showing up front charges of over £1800 .I did not have a copy of the loan agreement but Lloyds paid me back over £4000 "success":jOn the other loan from 1996 I only have statements from 2000 and 2001. These statements show that I paid off the loan 2 1/2 years early.
I have statement numbers 16 - 20.On each statement 3 monthly payments are listed would I be right in assuming therefore that there would have been 45 previous payments.
Lloyds also say that they have applied to the insurers Aviva for the original documentation but they no longer have copies of the insurance policy.Does this mean that they know that the insurance existed. To add to the confusion they keep telling me over the phone that my monthly payments were £530 which is exactly what I paid for a car loan in 2000 with Black Horse. Is it likely that Aviva are talking about the car loan. Will Lloyds still have records of the loan and what the upfront charges were, and if they cant get the original insurance documents will it affect my chances of success.
