PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Hi all, I've been reading through the PPI reclaiming guide for the best part of today, and I don't know if it's sinking in or if it's really so simple to claim by yourself. I've also been reading many success stories on another thread so it must be easy?
I think I'm paying PPI on majority of my credit accounts..
I definitely am paying Lifestyle Protect with my MBNA credit card i've had since 2004 so I have called them today to request a copy of my Credit Agreement & the Terms & Conditions, So I'm going to run with this one to see if it works...
...my question is this - once I receive the copied documents over the next 12 days, do I return a copy to the lender (MBNA) along with a filled in copy of the FOS Questionnaire? ..and simply wait for a reply to be granted or denied a refund?
I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given because I really want my money back, also would a PPI claim work against a car loan I have with Black Horse?
Thanks in advance0 -
Hi all,
Just before Christmas I was paid a lump sum from RBS to settle my PPI claim. I used a Claim company - Charterhouse - to get my money. My original paperwork was no win no fee, but they stuffed lots up and lost all of my paperwork ending up in me chasing them to find out progress. I signed the paperwork allowing them to proceed which mentioned a fee payable to them - eek!
My question is if they don't come after me for their share and I have old original paperwork saying no win no fee will I have to pay them??
Should I tell them that I've been paid as they don't seem to know and are totally incompetent??
Thoughts?
Thanks for reading chaps0 -
Santander to double overdraft charges
I nearly p--d myself when I read this
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/banking/2012/01/santander-to-double-overdraft-charges?utm_source=forum&utm_medium=sidebar&utm_campaign=box
WHAT A STUPID BANK ARE SANTANDER
As the article says
"Anyone who'll be smacked by these doubled charges should cut and run from Santander as soon as possible – the new fees will rapidly mount and hit your pocket.
Hasta la vista SANTANDER

Well you won so in theory you owe Charterhouse. Does not mean to say you have to pay them immediately though so keep the money safe in waiting so speak. Their problem if they are incompetent :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Hi there, could someone help please. Im thinking of making a claim against HSBC and i have looked a the template and it asks for a policy number? Is this the loan account number as i cant find anything on my paperwork? Also, do you have to do claims seperatly? I mean, we took the loan out ( with loan account number) then a year later, we went back saying we were having problems paying it back with overdraft and cards, so they re-did the loan ( with a different loan account number) and then again, HSBC said it would be better to consolidate all our credit cards, loan, overdraft etc to ADD to the loan and again, they set us up with a new loan with a new loan account number. So which loan number do i use, does the last one class as the main loan and go by that? Also is that to use for the policy number? Sorry for being dim lol
Have i posted this in the right section?Looking forward to winning lots of competitions :j
Good luck everyone0 -

Hi lemontella i would'nt bother sending all your documentation in unless MBNA ask for it, keep it safe somewhere, just put the fos questionaire in for now but send by recorded delivery and keep copies, yes it really is that easy to claim yourself as to the car yes if you've got reasons go for it.:):):):):):):):)0 -

Hi Cappo, Thanks for your reply!
I haven't actually alerted MBNA that I wish to send in a claim for mis-sold PPI, so Do I just send in the Questionnaire form?
...sorry for the questions, I'm a total novice.

Eroneous Bank Charges
These are the £25 - £30 charges the banks applied if they bounced cheques or DD's etc or you went into the red.
Whilst it all went to the high court and many courts stopped accepting claims, it still does not stop you re-claiming these charges back.
IF YOU feel your bank charged you eroneous charges, then add them all up and demand a refund plus interest.
When writing to them state .....
"These are eroneous charges and I now request you provide a full breakdown as to how each charge was calculated by you. I hereby demand all these eroneous charges to be refunded to me plus interest. If you fail to do this, I will request the County Court to request the same information."
If these thieving banks think they had a tough time in 2011, GUESS WHAT, it will be even worse in 2012 and beyond:T:j
So check your bank statements for these £25-£30 charges and add them all up. Remember they were/are profiteering at your expense.0 -
