YES email Bob Diamond the CEO of Barclays.
robert.diamond@barclaysplc.com

Tell him you are disgusted by the organisation he runs, its fraudulent and they stole money from you. STATE, you will issue a County Court summons against them if they do not resolve your problem with 7 days.

YOU MUST PUT FULL PRESSURE ON THEM NOW

Will do. I will let you know what the response is. Does he or his minions take long to reply?

YOU are going to the top so if he is worth being called a CEO, he will ensure you get an answer
• Hello....I'm new to this so please forgive me if this question has been answered before

I have had several loans with the same high street bank over the course of the last 10 or 11 years. Each time, the new loan taken out was to consolidate debts (including the previous loan) and each time, the loan had PPI insurance included.

As the last loan was both taken out and settled within the last 6 years, can I make a single claim for all of the PPI (applying to all of the loans together) on the basis that they are "linked" to each other, or do I need to make a separate claim for each loan PPI specifically?

Many thanks for any help in advance ;)
• Thanks for the advice - SAR template downloaded and ready to send to Lombard/RBS.

:)

Well, I have a letter with the calculation offer and saying interest was paying up til 27th october. That was mid September. Can anyone else confirm here? I don't want to submit a claim and pay £80 for it to be thrown out and lose my original offer in the process

Thanks

Sorry, has anyone got experience of taking the bank to the small claims? I can't be the only one here and I'm not prepared to rush into spending £80 on fees and on what could be a massive an uncertainty

Hi,if the reasons for mis sell are the same, then you can put all account numbers on the same claim form.

Make sure when you get an acknowledgement that all the loans are being looked at,although they should look at all loans together from the last loan that you claim for.
Some do this over the phone, who is the bank?.

Hi there,if you have the offer and have accepted it,they cannot take the offer away if you go to court, you are only taking it to court as they have failed to pay you .

Someone who has done this may post and help you.

If i were you,i would put a complaint into FOS regarding the holding back of payment, the regulators seem to be unable to make the banks jump, but then again, why would you bite the hand that feeds you?.

Have you contacted the FSCS and asked about the delay and fob offs? dont know if they can help but it is just a thought, they make the rules dont they?..

This is how this loan works i am afraid.

Write to FP and put this.
We/I believe we were mis sold the ppi on the above account number, and would like recordings,if any to the contrary of my/our reasons for mis sell set out below.

1)We/I were not told that the ppi was in effect another loan that was added to the original loan and was repayable over the loan term with interest.

2) We/I were told that the ppi was a 5 year policy, but not told the ppi would still be on the loan to term end with interest.

3) We/I were told that if we did not make a claim,or go into arrears on the ppi ,after 5 years we would recive the cashback of ppi but this would not include the interest made on these payments that we paid over the 5 years.

In line with the FOS recommendations it is requested that the overall situation be restored as if PPI had never been included. This will entail:
A refund of the monthly payments that have actually been paid towards the overall loan in excess of those that would have been needed, if the original loan had been sold without the PPI policy.

In addition, interest at the rate of 8% simple per annum to any excess payments made from the time each payment was made to the point that Firstplus pays them back to us. We/i believe we were not given enough information on this ppi to make an informed decision. Had we/i known the full cost of this ppi we would not have taken it.

Unless you can prove without doubt that this PPI policy was fair, reasonable and suitable for my/our circumstances we/I will require you to rearrange the loan as if PPI had never been included on the above loan.

You were mis sold this and this is a win,you will get the total ppi taken off your loan and your monthly payment will reduce by the ppi monthly amount, this will save you thousands in interest over the remaining term, you will also get some cash back to you.

As you have had the ppi back, they will give you 3 options with this mis sell, you need to take the one that resets the loan without ppi, otherwise, you will still be paying this ppi back with interest.

Thank you so much for your reply. The letter has been drafted and will be sent recorded delivery today!!:T
• Hi there, can anyone help,

I had a PPI claim successfully accepted back in October. The bank have confirmed they received my acceptance letter back on 20th Oct and I was told 28 working days until I'd receive the money. This didn't materialise.

I received both a text from RBS group and a written letter on 23rd Dec confirming payment had been made and that I could expect it in 7 days. There is still no sign of my money almost a month later. I've tried calling on almost a daily basis but the PPI department simply won't help me, they say they've made the payment to either the collections or credit management service team so it's no longer their problem. The payment is made to CMS and it's now their responsibility to process it.

I've spoken with the Collections and CMS teams but they say they can't help me as my accounts aren't actually held with them as I have no outstanding debts or arrears with the bank. They literally don't have any access to my accounts. They've also told me the process of payment described by the PPI team is totally inaccurate anyway and that payment should be made directly into my current account. When I bring this back to the PPI department I'm told the same thing - it's not their problem.

I'm a little stuck as I've budgeted according to the information I received from the bank on 23rd (that I'll have my money in 7 days) and can't get hold of anyone who will help me find out why I haven't received my money, where it is and when I can expect it. I've asked on multiple occasions for a manager to phone me back but I'm still waiting.

Any help much appreciated!!
