Hi all, just hoping for some advice. Me n hubby took out a First PLus loan in Nov 2006, PPI was taken out on the basis that it would increase our chances and were also told that if I didnt claim then I would get all the premims back at the end so I may as well take it out anyway. The PPI was loaded to the start of the loan and was £5571 on a £28k loan that we were consolidating. WE paid off the loan in full, including the PPI when we sold our house in 2007. If I try and claim this back do I consider the interest til now or just for the period of the loan considering we paid it early. Oh, also reading through the paperwork they would never have paid out anyway as I was only a Temporary Worker at the time, I wasnt even on a contract.

Any advice would be great. Thanks :-)

Easy one katkitty, it was front loaded and not liked by the FSA, if they told you the only way to get a loan was to take out a PPI, they lied to earn commission AND ..... if the PPI would never have paid out that is fraud so hit them hard and don't mince your words with them, fraud is fraud and you can quote the fraud act 2006 to them

Hello all, I'm a newbie on here but have some good news and a question. I have had an offer from MBNA for £12k, I only made the claim on a speculative basis, so I'm blown away with the result. They have quoted one of the 7 card numbers I have had on 2 MBNA accounts. I've had both accounts for over 15 years and only stopped the PPI on both about 18 months ago. Am I right in thinking that the 2 accounts are separate and will be dealt with separately, meaning that they may well offer on the other card as well ?

MBNA combined all my 4 account numbers and made me one offer even though i sent off 4 seperate claims.
    Well done 12k is brilliant

Hi panda eyes i had barclaycard reject my claim for my old morgan stanley card, i fossed it 8 months later barclays made an offer of "no liability" there argument was they'd sold the ppi properly, my argument was they never sold it to me morgan stanley did and as barclaycard had purchased morgan stanley they also purchased m.s liabilities and debts.
