Hi All
FOS have accepted my Yorkshire bank complaint so fingers crossed.
But after reading Martins website I have applied for MEAF (mortgage exit admin fees) and Halifax have paid me £175 today.
Only waiting for Bradford and Bingley now so every get applying for your MEAF refunds
Good luck everyone

I'm not so sure now whether to attempt to claim or not, the bank won't/can't give me the information they say too long has passed. I don't have any information and the payments don't appear on my SO/DD list, feel as if it may be a lost cause.0

I just telephoned Welcome finance and they say that no decision has been made but that my claim has gone to the calculations department. Sorry if i sound a bit thick but surely if my claim is with the calculations department then they are going to pay something out ( although it will go off my loan).

you can try stormy if they won't deal with you send it to the fos, i have had this with LTSB it's taken me 6 months and they keep knocking me back although i was self employed when i took out the ppi so i fossed it in the end, you can get sick and tired of all the squit in the end can't you0 -
Hello all, I'm a newbie on here but have some good news and a question. I have had an offer from MBNA for £12k, I only made the claim on a speculative basis, so I'm blown away with the result. They have quoted one of the 7 card numbers I have had on 2 MBNA accounts. I've had both accounts for over 15 years and only stopped the PPI on both about 18 months ago. Am I right in thinking that the 2 accounts are separate and will be dealt with separately, meaning that they may well offer on the other card as well ?0
