I really don't think they have a clue, I was told my tax code would be adjusted to incorporate the tax I had to pay but the guy kept having to refer to notes on the system as he was going along

As i said earlier, it cost you in time and money to get your money back so claim this against your tax ... PUT IN YOUR CLAIM

They are sending me a payment slip for the exact amount I owe them £296, do you think I can write the cheque for less and put it down to time spent and postage ;) or would they hound me for the whole lot.
Of course I could delay and tell them it's with the calculations department :D

I dont actually remember as it was done over the phone but I dont think they asked about existing medical conditions and sick pay, and the way the word 'optional' looks like its been added to be honest were the word insurance is. If I want to try claim what would be best for me to write? Im useless with writing letters.:(

Hiya, OK send me a PM WITH your email address please, then i will ask you to give me full details and I will do the letter for you

Hi mate that would confuse them as this is a new money grabbing system for them. When you get the payment slip go back to them with your claim and request they send you a new adjusted slip
