Hi,
Just reading on here as I too have a loan with Barclays where the agreement shows I have ticked the box however I am sure a person I dealt with said i had to have it otherwise couldnt have loan. Not sure how I will be able to prove but its worth a go. I will try and word the letter in detail highlighting the ticked box so hopefully i wont get a letter from them stating that as will be an even long delay

I just called MBNA and St Andrews did the PPI
ok, QUESTION, did you tick the PPI box knowingly
St Andrews again ??? this a fraudulent scam by Lloyds Banking Group, SO as you called them, I suspect you do not have the policy as MBNA did not send out the policies.
Request a copy of this fraud policy by sending me a PM with your email address.0 -

Hi zoe don't worry too much about the tick box there are a lot more reasons for misales other than whether you ticked the box the fsa frowns on front loaded loans which presumably yours is? and there are lots of misale definitions study some of them on the link

Zoe, if they said you HAD TO HAVE the PPI, they were just lining their own pockets with commission. IT WAS A BLANTANT LIE
100% Grounds to reclaim all payments plus 8% interest

I WONDER how many bank managers, staff, telephone advisors actually said ...
YOU MUST HAVE THE PPI TO GET A LOAN.CREDIT CARD ?
The staff were under pressure to SELL SELL SELLAND THIS IS THE PROBLEM THE BANKS HAVE, THEY ACTUALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT LIES THEIR STAFF TOLD JUST TO EARN COMMISSION :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Hello Di, I was over the moon to hear that Bluesteph has had ppi claim upheld by RBS and that they are also repaying ppi on a previous loan Bluesteph had with them.
I have a claim in with RBS was advised to go to the FOS last September 2010 as it was submitted before the court case and it was upheld by the FOS 2nd August this year, had a letter fom RBS two weeks ago apologising for the delay and would be hoping to make a payment within the next four weeks (RBS says they have been awarded extra time from the FOS).I paid over £4000 ppi on a loan from RBS which ran for 7 years and finished two years ago.
Di what I would like to ask you is although I knew I had a previous loan from RBS which had run its course and finished just before my next loan I didnt want to rock the boat and submit another claim before I received payment on this claim, do you think the RBS should be looking at this first loan automatically and paying me both claims,
or when I receive my refund should I start a new ppi claim? Any advice would be so helpful - I dont know why I didnt submit the two claims at the same time I must have had a senior moment - many thanks
Hiya
They should be automatically looking into other accounts you taken out with them, but personally I would put them in for yourself, just in case.;)
Blimey, you have been waiting for such a long time......
Good luck honey you go for it, its your money.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Is it possible to make a complaint to the FOS about how long its taking to pay out from Lloyds, or just to escalate a complaint so it's not just fobbed off? It's been 4 months since I accepted their offer and I still havent had the money. They've actually stopped responding to my emails, even ones directly to the CEO0

mikeandbec wrote: »Hi I wonder if anyone could give us their opinion on whether we have a case against LloydsTSB for the following, my wife took out a loan in July 2000 when she was a supply teacher which unknown to her included PPI, we only found the paperwork for the loan today and that was the first my wife knew of the PPI, it was paid off in 2005. As my wife was a supply teacher so not in regular employment when the loan was taken out surely the PPI was useless for her?
PS no comments about taking long time for LloydsTSB to payout, we have another loan that a claim has been accepted on and had offer letter on 8/9/11 and as you guess no payment yet!!
Hi
Yes I think its a case here and if your wife didn't even know about this.
Worth putting in a reclaim I think.
As its Lloyds, go directly on the website below, as its the same procedures as on here, there is a questionnaire, complete and send to the address as shown on the website.
Good luck.
