    Fab news!:T Congratulations!

Did they give you a timescale of when you should be receiving your cheque?

You could ask about having it paid into your account, no harm in doing so, good luck. x

Letter just says as quick as possible!
  • hi beamerguy got a letterback from barclays stating i tick the box for ppi and can go to the fos within six months

    Hi.

Sometimes they will consider reviewing a final decision?

    Have you done this?

If you have anything further to add, for example, despite the box being ticked, was there other reasons you gave them? (where they may have not even looked into)?
If you think they have maybe overlooked your complaint, ask them to review within 14 days and to let you know.

If you hear nothing or if they do not change the decision, you can then complain to the FOS, or do this now if you want to.

It's up to you, but you need to tell them as a valued customer with a genuine complaint, you are not satisfied that they investigated your complaint thoroughy and not or taken your reasons into account, despite the box being ticked at the time of when the account was taken out, and that the staff had a responsibility to ensure the policy was to suit your requirements, where now since the issues of mis selling of the PPI have been brought up over the months you have raised this complaint.

Hope this helps you, good luck.;)

That's annoying, especially as you do have a lloyds bank account!

And your not asking for much, just for them to pay this into your account! So wrong of them isn't it?

Hi I wander if anyone can give me some advice.
My 72 year old Dad Used Ismart to put through his Barclays Claim.
Barclays came back with an offer of £500. He was advised by ismart not to sign form accepting Compensation as they felt they could get more for him this occured in Sept 11. He is now recieving calls from ismart stating he owes them £150 for their fees in completion of Claim.
He had the direct number for the operator he was dealing with only to be told person had left and they did not have any records of his claim, considering that he recieved the call 5 minutes before stating he owed them money.
I wrote a letter on his behalf to complain, stating as nothing was signed he did not owe anything as he has not recieved any Compensation.
Dad recieved a call today from an operator demanding payment of their fees or they will take him to court.
My agruement is that nothing has been signed unless they have been fraudulent in signing his name.
    Can anyone help.
    Thanks
    Caring Daughter
