  • Is anyone still waiting on Lloyds to pay PPI claims out ??
I originally put in my complaint for mis-selling of PPI with Lloyds in May this year, and only on Friday did I receive my final offer letters (more than one previous loan). So, I thought I'd contact Lloyds today and see how long for the payments to be transferred to my bank account, only to be told upto....... another 8 weeks.
More than anything I'm furious as the 16 week FSA guidelines they had to adhere to came and went with no response, and now it'll be Christmas before I see what they owe me !!!! So I make that 29 weeks from start to a conclusion...

Is there anyone I can complain further to ????
  • Sorry to keep asking questions. It seems that some of the banks are stating on their PPI complaints page to complete the questionaire that is on the FCO website. Looking at this it seems pretty straightforward - has anyone else completed one of these?
I'm just wondering where I need to state lots of reasons or whether I can just keep it very brief? Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

Hi t you could complain to the fsa although i don't think they always listen have you contacted LTSB's ceo as this will sometimes do the trick.
  • I just spoke to Lloyds about the money Im owed. I have been chasing for ages, my offer amount letter was received beginning of Sept stating payment would be made within 21 days (not working days, it just said days). So its now been double that and i have been calling nearly daily as Im skint. Finally, someone was honest with me and said he are only just paying the people who we offered payments to at the beginning of august. Didnt say how long it is taking to process a months worth of payments til it gets to me tho. Im hoping it will be before xmas as interest is not being added for all the months its taking them to pay up AND ON 8K THATS QUITE A BIT!

  • Hi,

I'm hoping someone might be able to help advise me on a question I have.

I have been in contact with Lloyds TSB in regards to 2 loans I had with them. The first was £12000 for 5 years (PPI on this I was aware of, was told I needed to have it because of my age) and the second was £4000 for 5 years (I had refused the PPI on this loan but it was still put on). Both loans I have now paid off in full. I called Lloyds TSB back in June 2011 in regards to claiming my PPI payments back. I recieved a letter yesterday agreeing to repay me £984.08. I'm not sure this is right amount, I believe I paid more than that for my PPI on both loans. Can I reject their offer and complain to the ombudsman? My concern is if the Ombudsman find in favor of LLoyds TSB I will lose out on the original payement offered?

Hi get back in touch with them and ask them to email or send you a letter with a full breakdown of the calculations, then you can go from there, the letter with the calcs on should also give you the option of going to the fos
