Hi red peppers i'd take this as a final response from them and fos this, some of these lenders have sawdust between there ears and you can just imagine them singing as there reading your letter with there fingers in there ears and there eyes closed totally not paying attention i think you might unfortunately be wasting your time with them but you have a very good case as if your hub were self employed in all probability he couldn't have claimed.

There you go Cap, this is what they look like. Training up two freshmen how to con, steal and lie to the public

Hi degs if you knew you had the ppi you stick with it, i've had LTSB blow me off for the last 6 months telling me i did'nt have ppi it's only the fact that i chased them for the 6 months and sent there ceo umpteen emails telling him that i knew that i had ppi, i have now finally prevailed and got the fos involved, they've mysteriously upheld the two loans, no ppi, what cobblers stick to your guns.

    Hi People,

Can anyone advise me on one thing, that being is it better to go with someone like Gladstone Brookes to reclaim my PPI at their rate of roughly 30% if successful for ease and proffessional handling or is it better to go it alone myself, will i have more success with GB??
    [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]

Go it alone, you will get all the help you need on this site for free and the end result will be the same :D:D except for the fee GB will take from you..

    Could someone help me please?

My husband wasn't successful in reclaiming from Intelligent Finance, he received a waffly letter giving no specific reason why. I wrote back to them and asked them to reconsider as he is a self employed business owner who would continue to pay himself if sick etc and asked for the reasons of why it wasn't upheld.

This letter was ignored so he rang them and they reopened the complaint, then 2 days later he received a letter saying refer to previous letter complaint closed...

Now I want to write to someone higher within the company to get this looked at properly.

Who do I write to? It seems intelligent finance is part of Bank of Scotland which is part of Lloyds group formerly part of Halifax.

I saw earlier in the thread the contact name and address for head of PPI for BOS is the correct person. I've saved this info somewhere!

    Thank you
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give it another go,dont wait for 2 years or more with the FOS.

If the address doesnt show on here, then go here
