Off TOPIC but I lived In malaysia for 5 years and the rule of thumb for speeding was to go to the back of the car with the cop, flash a few notes, 20 ringitt ($20) about £5, get a hand shake and that was it. I was caught doing 100mph on a toll motorway, cost me £10

The cops earn more this way than taking you down to the station as they will lose money if not on the road.

Me off topic too sorry folks :o, it just seems to be one thing after another doesnt it?
Golly £10, did they include points as well?

Sorry to hear this Di what a shame as you say he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, then you panic because your lost don't you, at least he won't get any points i think everyone gets caught if they drive for long enough, jackie got caught 2 years ago.

Cheers Steve xx:A Sorry to learn the same happened with Jackie as well.
He did panic, he did say though the officer was quite understanding when he taken down the address and realised him being genuine with being lost in the dark as well, it was pitch black, the officer was using a private car as well and EVO. xx

LOL yeah, and I do think with Jamie being young (almost 23 now) and a 2 door SXi Vauxhall Corsa, its seen as a boy racers car, they pick up on them and being vulnerable of course.
