WELL DONE, when you read the amount of money that is being paid back, it really does show the massive fraud these banks did
  • Hi

Im new to this wonder if anyone can help me. Had a claim form from fscs for reclaiming ppi against welcome finance.
One of the questions is DO YOU STILL OWE MONEY TO THE FIRM THAT SOLD YOU YOUR POLICY? I do owe money as i havent paid off all of the loan yet. But in brackets underneath its says This does not include loan interest you may currently be paying to your lender or policy premiums you may be paying to your provider.

Sorry might be acting a little thick but can someone explain the difference between Firm, Lender and Provider means please.

    Thanks

ive rang, emailed customercare, emailed ceo, its been 8 weeks now since my offer letter !! i could do with an alternative number as i havnt got a landline so i have to ring off my mobile

I've been searching for old letters from when I first had some ppi cases resolved, and for the life of me unable to find them, so annoying when in need! As I'm sure there were alternative tel numbers on them.

I would speak to your MP, who will on request contact them on your behalf, I don't think they'll ignore MP's to be honest, even though banks already have a reputation, I'm sure they don't want to make matters worse for themselves.

Any idea of if you've a good MP in your local area hon?

    Wonderful Mark :T:j Congratulations:beer:

Keep on at Lloyds, they may still reconsider and review a rejected decision if you have any further info to give, good luck.;)

    lender = welcome finance
firm and provider = your ppi insurance

    Hi there

Basically I think this is just a standard question, as some are still active loans and others ongoing, so in your case its yes, do not worry about the interest side of it.

I Assume the firm of who is in default, in your case Welcome finance, they may have also been the lender.

Lender/provider is the ones the broker have passed on your details and they provide the money/loan, unless as stated above, your broker was the lender and broker firm as such.

    Try not to worry.
There is also a thread of companies in default below, its a long thread but it may also help with some of your questions, good luck.

    And on the FSCS website.
