Sunny, ask Endeavour to send you some written paperwork of the broker who sold you the account, they should also have contact details, if it wasnt regulated when you taken this out, the FOS will undertake this complaint against the underwriter who would have been regulated by GISC.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0

Hi darling, im great thanks...:j
Just had a little rest from it as it was doing my head in!!:o
Im back now with vengeance to carry on..:T:T haha
Hope your well hunny...think i may need your advice with regards to your pals ..the dreaded EPF!!!:eek: lolxx
I am fine thank you :A and yes its good to rest, I totally agree, I have been giving it a bit more space, because I suffer migraines, and when I do come on, I try making up lol, but that will never happen lolbecause there are new posts and threads each time .
As EPF have confirmed the broker, they should provide you with the contact details.
I dealt with EPF by emailing the HSBC as HFC are dealing with EPF now and HSBC cover them all, so you could email the CEO of EPF and ask them to forward you details of the broker.;) xx

hello all,
My quiet evenings in front of the television have recently and often been disturbed by 'cold callers' offering their services towards reclaiming mis-sold PPI. Given my financial history for mortgage / loans etc, there may be a case out there somewhere but I wouldn't know where to start.
Would the recent spate of calls indicate towards a claim or are they just chancing their luck based on my history ?.
Do they have 'inside' information ?...do they know but won't tell me ?...are they just after a slice of the cake ?
Any advice would be appreciated.
thanks..0 -
Sunny Portfield are loan brokers, and found the link below (not many details as such), what we need to find out is, if Norton also taken on the liabilities.
What year was your loan?

The only other thing I can suggest is contact the FOS, explain your predicament, and they should advise on who should be pursued.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi there
Claims companies search the data base and will make these cold sales to say there will be money to reclaim, but if you think you may have a case of being mis sold, then its simple enough to have a go yourself, and this way if successful you will get to keep your refund, where claims companies will take a cut from the refund.
Just check out the info below link, and if you think you have a case, you just complete the reclaim questionnaire on step 3, send to the head office or complaints dept of whoever set up and sold you the account, and keep copies for yourself as well, good luck.
(Oh and its less paperwork involved by having a go yourself).;)

Yesterday i managed to get an answer on the lloyds ppi complaints number within 3 minutes ( impressive after giving up 3 times after 30 minutes !! ) and was told something completely different yet again !! It is now over 21 weeks since i sent my original complaint and nearly 7 weeks since being told that i am entitled to my money back. First i was told 21 working days to recieve my cheque, then i was told to allow an extra 2 weeks on top of that. Yesterday i was told that they are currently sending out payments for those whose offer letters are dated the beginning of august which means that i still have at least another 5 or 6 weeks to wait. I asked why it had to be a cheque and was told that they were saying everyone had to have a cheque to make it fair although a few people had contested it and managed to get payment straight into their account but it had delayed the process so they may as well have waited for a cheque !! Basically i was told that while the ombidsman makes the ruling as to how many weeks they have to answer your complaint there is no limit to how quickly they have to pay you, if you try to complain it will delay the process so shut up and wait. Its a shame that the ombidsman didnt make a ruling about payment timecales at the same time !!!:mad:0

Hi Kath, interesting that Lloyds are using a flaw in the system regarding WHEN they pay cheques out. I personally would advise the FOS that this is happening, they probably know but it does not hurt to remind them of their flaw

This is all because they actually dont have the money, the stalling tactics and feeble excuses are getting worse daily.
You are right, the monkeys did end up in the banks, Banks of the Apes :rotfl:
There was a time in my life money was very thin but that didn't stop the bank pestering me for money i owed them, and had to pay them for the privilege for the letters the bank sent me
They seem to make it up as they go along
LOL :rotfl:
Perhaps they will pay all back with Bananas :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Yes, I remember that, but things changed when customers started charging the banks £25 per letter if they could not get a reply.
Let's bring that back into force and for every letter/email they ignore bill them £25 each time, that will soon wake up this low life0
