Hello,
I will tell you what Ge has done to me I had a loan taken on 11/06/2007
For £40,000 Plus PPI £4,860. ( told I had to take or no loan ) Total was £45,360.00
which also included a £500 compilation charge.I cancelled PPI on the 5th Sept 2007 as I was paying of the full loan. The money I paid to GE to finish the loan was a total of £45,186.32 which my solicitor paid.I never received my PPI money ( Rebate of £4,455) GE took this on top of the £45,186.32.
When I fought to get this they said it was a broker I had to deal with now dissolved
.So I wrote to FSCS who would only award me £587.15 as they said I had already received £4,455.00 but I did not GE STOLE this.
I am still trying to get it back with no successes to date.
Congrats with your success. !!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Hi mary we're all sorry to here about this, this is so wrong, are you in a position to get legal aid for a criminal solicitor who specialises in this sort of case, you could do a money court online claim for this but there is a fee involved ,i'm sure you have already taken advice on this but have you thought about your local cab you as you say should have received a pro rata rebate on this

Good Morning, was wondering if anybody could pmsl me the ceo of halifax email address please.
We sent a claim to the the halifax on the 6/6/11 for a cc, we recevied acknowledgement from them with a ref no, dated 14/6. We just realised we have not heard anything since, contacted hfx this am, and they say they have nothing on the screen for that claim!!!!!! and advised us to contact the fos. Decided to contact the ceo as not satisfied with this0 -

Hi
I'm sure its the same one as Lloyds CEO. Keep at them and tell him not to pass on to the customer team to get back to you because nothing is being done, ask if your problem is dealt with promptly, as a valued customer of Halifax you feel they owe you that much.
Good luck.

Oh blimey Steve, so so sorry to hear this.
Yes write to your MP, get him or her to sort this out for you, I would also explain your health issues as well Steve (if you don't mind me saying so honey), all crossed here for you xx:A:AThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Its a lot of money there Steve, you have been this far, so if you have to wait even longer you will do it - Im sure.
I really don't blame you Steve.
You know me, I waited and waited over 3 years for a business just to admit liability, and got there in the end. XXX;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi everyone,
Newgirl to the forum so please bear with me!
I had PPI on my Halifax mortgage about 5 years ago & made a claim when my husband was off work ill for approximately one month . I received a very small payout to cover my mortgage payment, something ridiculous like £25!
Anyway, my question is that if I claimed on my PPI, albeit it was a very small claim, can I still be successful in reclaiming PPI?
Thanks!0 -
