Hi sunny hope you ok, now been in touch with fos about the LTSB they've given them a bit of extra time to fully respond, there writing to the bank asking them to respond to me with a full response to my complaint if they will not admit to me having the ppi i've been told by the fos that they'll take the complaint on and the bank will have to prove that i did'nt have ppi, at this point i don't care if it takes 20 years to sort out.

Hi Steve, sorry to hear about the prolonged cr*p still going on, I can't believe that they are doing this still, well no it doesn't surprise me, can the ICO not get involved in this too if they say you don't have ppi and you know you have had it, then they are lying and not complying, just my humble thoughts.
Total nonsense, look forward to hear how you get on with your MP, mine's has been okay when i've asked for help on various matters, she always follows up with stuff further down the line too, although the MP's aren't exactly the quickest, but I suppose they are busy;)
Thanks to all the competition posters.
  • Hope i have posted in the right place, looking into missold ppi with Peugeot filled in ppi questionaire def know it was missold however now Im stuck and dont know if I can continue, the problem being who missold the ppi, if it was the dealership not peugeot finance then I dont think I can persue as that dealership no longer exists however there are other peugeot dealerships nearby, do they count or should I just forget about it.
    Any advice is most welcome.

Hi mate hope you ok, i've been copying all emails to customer "care" to the ceo as well there not interested but would you keep chasing them for 6 months if you knew you did'nt have it, they won't give me my credit card and loan agreements even though i've sarred them and been chasing them now for what seems like an eternity, the gloves are off now, i can play dirty as well lol.:beer::)
  • Quick question. If you accept an offer from a bank re mis sold PPI on a loan, can you make a further claim about an earlier loan with PPI against the same bank?

Hi john the bank should tell you about any previous loans anyway but yes you can this is all included in the fsa handbook and ps10/12

3.2.7.G: The firm should consider all of its sales of payment protection contracts to the complainant in respect of re-financed loans that were rolled up into the loan covered by the payment protection contract that is the subject of the complaint. The firm should consider the cumulative financial impact on the complainant of any previous breaches or failings in those sales.

    Hi there

First of all what year did you take out the account?
If Jan 2005 onwards you should be able to make a reclaim through the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS), if these are listed with this business you can arrange for them to send you a claim form.
The dealer maybe listed with them.

    http://www.fscs.org.uk/contact-us/

Failing that, you could contact the financial ombudsman service (FOS) explain your situation to them, they will then possibly suggest the underwriter/insurer of the policy.
There are ways round this, good luck and please keep us posted.;)

Hi John, as Cappo say, of course you can.;)

With mine the main of them have been with Lloyds TSB, and I have done a few here and there.

Even though the FSA expect them to look into other loan accounts the same time as already having one in, its always best to put your own case forward to them anyway, go for it, and the best of luck.

And well done on your success.
