  • hi everyone
I am new to this and just wanted some advice please?
I have sent claim forms to RBS, when the 8 weeks were due up, got a letter saying it was now 16 weeks to investigate, I am now 10 weeks in with 6 weeks still to go.
Is it worth calling them to get a progress report?
will it help to chase it up?
    thanks x

    Hi all quick question-

Had a phone call from my Mum a few seconds ago, It seems I have leter from Welcome Finace about a Loan I had with them (Car Fiance I think) regarding the PPI i had on it. I didn't even realise I had it on this, and I couldn't even check as I haven't got the paperwork.

Could this be good news and Has anyone else had a letter from them to advise?

    Help would be greatly recived

    Hi there

Get a reclaim in by completing the reclaim questionnaire below and send to their head/complaints office, as you did not know you had PPI its case in my opinion. Go for it.;) If it were the dealer who arranged this then send to them with a "copy of the letter you received"

Someone else received the same sort of letter in the last few days on here, good luck and ask for further help if required.

Okay, now I have managed to confuse myself with figures and compounding contractual interest, so perhaps one for Tifosi or Niggly et al to confirm or tell me I am a whopper :rotfl:

Credit card ppi payment = £30

    APR 29%

    13 years ago (156 months)

I have just compounded that and I get £821 for that one payment.

    Is that correct????

And then £753 for the payment made the month after.

Nahh, this can't be right surely.
