Yes you do with the reasons you have given, send this to FLA.

You need to do this as 2 seperate claims, but copy the original template twice,i take this they are 2 different cards?.
It will be easier, dont forget to send recordrd delivery.

sorry that nobody helped with this post, the threads are moving far too fast for us to keep up with!!!!!
if you dont get a post answered again, just qoute it yourself and it will be moved up to the front!.

just to say had a letter back from clydesdale bank passed my 8 weeks now they are still looking into my ppi take it they will take 16 weeks
They might take 16 weeks, but by FSA rules they're supposed still complete within the 8 weeks, Clydesdale and their sister bank Yorshire weren't part of the Judicial Review so they weren't given the extension of time to 16 weeks, however, the other choice is going to FOS, the bank should write to you to ask for more time and give you the choice and details for going to FOS.
I'm also coming up to a 12 week period next week, and the emails to the CEO will start soon, his name is David Thorburn. Here is the email address for the ppi customer services.
AQU.PPI@eu.nabgroup.com

You could also email the ceo, David.Thorburn@eu.nabgroup.com if you CC the customer care it might help speed up the process.

Clydesdale don't really have any great need to have this extra time as the amnount of claims they receive is very small compared to Llloyds/HBOS/RBS/Barclays.

Lastly all I'd say is even waiting a few more weeks will be better than going to FOS with the time it takes them to sort these out, in which case unless you get a rejection of your complaint it's worth waiting.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

Di,

I got a letter through from Lloyds today, my PPI claim was settled in my favour and I also got interest for the money :)

Do you have any info on how much I should be expecting to have to pay in tax? Do I also just have to pay tax on the interest? I hope not on the refund of the premium as well as the excess balance and interest!

I can just see this being fun down the local tax office as my PPI claim covered 6 different loans with lloyds over a span of 10 years, so would any tax free savings allowance be taken into account over that time frame too? These were cascaded loans that paid off each other in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2007. My offer given to me is just shy of £20k, £10k of that in premiums, the rest in interest and excess balance with interest.

Cheers,

S
