I do hope you have enjoyed the drinks from everyones cupboards :) lol and hope you are not to worse for wear to help me out!
Sent a SAR to Santander at the beginning of last week enclosing a £20 chq (in both mine and hubbys names), posted it to an address on their website.
It has been returned today with my SAR letter in a handwritten Alliance and Leicester envelope. No explanation, no cover note, nothing! Anyone happen to know what address I should send it to?

Hi there, did you send it to the address i gave previous?.
Try this one and put to customer services.
    Santander UK PLC
    PO Box 1125
    BRADFORD
    BD1 9PG

Or better still, ring and ask where you send it to.

Thanks everyone.....much appreciated. So it seems that I should still put a claim in, so I will. how scarey!!! Hope I don't mess it up, I am still a bit worried about the tick-box thing.... however, nothing ventured etc!!

Out of interest, I read thru the T's & C's that they sent with the letter, & in it it says that the payment protector insurers are CGU insurance. Should I still send my claim to HSBC as it was them that sold it, or do I send it to CGU? :o

  • Has anyone had any success/correspondence from Egg recently? It's way beyond the original 8 weeks, they then wrote to me and said they 'hoped' to settle my case by 8th August but I've heard nothing and that date is rapidly approaching...???
