PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Since I was refused claims on my PPI from the Coop Bank in 2005, it has continued to annoy me ever since. I saw Martins template earlier this year & thought I would complete the claims template as I had nothing to lose.
Sent form off to the Coop, I received an acknowledgement a week later informing me that they were looking into my request & 6 weeks later they said that they were in the wrong & £1250 would be credit to my account.
So I would like to say a Big Big Thank You to Martin & your the team
Regards
Riach
Well done:beer::j:money::T:)0 -

Is there a template that i can use to send to my credit card companies to recover my PPI charges? I have 3 credit cards and all 3 have PPI on them, i was told one would cover my card from fraud and i also didnt know one ever had anything on it and one i didnt even ask for it.
Hi belgium well the fraud one sounds as if it's just a standard fraud and keys protection the others sound like they could be ppi,the first thing to do is try to get hold of some paperwork,you need to know if you had ppi in the first instance,if you can't find paperwork ring the bank first and ask if you had ppi,these days some banks will do a claim over the phone which is a lot easier,here is a link with some more info and pdf's of fos reclaim forms to download,also in word,have a look and see if you fit any of the reasons for reclaiming and go from there, good luck.

My husband was misold PPI by Natwest (RBS). He didn't need or want the insurance but they said he had to have it.
He did however end up claiming on the insurance when he was made redundant. Our arguement is that his family could have supported him with the payments so although he used the insurance he could have coped without it.
We are still waiting for our reply from RBS. They have until the end of this month.
What do you rate our chances???0 -

i think if you used it and it payed out, then it did what it said it would do and was of use to you, but if it was on a loan and front loaded then that was a big no no on the banks part.
I really dont know but wish you the best of luck
