Thank you.
Lol nothing like cheek, I'm going to change banks WHEN my claim is upheld and it's paid my loan off. Santander will be getting a new customer out of me!!!
Maybe I should charge Lloyds £15 for the day I made my claim and then £6 for every day they have taken plus 8%.
Thanks for your positive reply, really need to be positive or I'm going to drive myself made.
Well done to all winners :T
It will be a positive result
:D and your be giving them the birdie!
you should charge them as im sure they would you!
dont go mad, have a cuppa and enjoy window shopping till that fat cheque turns up!

this is my first time on here, i am thinking of making a claim for credit card ppi, i have had my card since the early 90's but i have no paperwork apart from recent statements, the thought of tackling the bank seems daunting so i have found a company that charge 17.5% + vat, i have not signed up but i am wondering if anyone has any recommendations or ideas, im not sure what do ?
DO NOT USE A COMPANY!
its so easy to do it yourself and if your complaint is upheld you get to keep all your monies;)
and if you get stuck everyone here, is here to help and some people have the best advise to give!
to get you started, Look here for info and reasons for being miss-sold your ppi
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/rec...nsurance#step2
Once you have had a read though and have your reasons. You will need to fill in a consumer complaints questionnaire. Which I would download, have a read though and familiarise yourself with the questionnaire and its layout. The questionnaire can be found here
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/rec...nsurance#step3
the main info you will need to complete the questionnaire is:- Loan account number/numbers
- start date
- finish date
- and your reasons
then complete the form and send it off
simples, hope that may help, good luck

Do as Marksman said, but put the card number (as this is cc)
What card is this?.You can sometimes put a claim in over the phone. Card companies sometimes only pay back for the last 6 years, unless you have statements going back before that with ppi on.
If you do not have all the statements, then write to the card company and request all information they hold on your account, this will cost you £10,but is still a lot less than 17% that you would pay a company.0 -
Wonder if you can advise, have received Barclaycard offer today, which part of the interest do I need to inform the tax office about? The 8% only or the refund of interest charged on the PPI Premiums as well?
Thanks!:)0 -

Last week I contacted both Egg & LLoyds TSB re mis-selling of PPI, and was told that I would hear from them in due course i.e. approx. 8-16 weeks which is the average wait at the moment. Today, I arrived home from work to find a letter from Egg with a cheque for over £1300!!!!! I can`t tell you how delighted I am. This will come in very handy, as we`re off to Spain in a couple of weeks time. Let`s hope LLoyds will do the same:j:j:j2019 WINS- £100

8% interest is taxable income not the refund of premiums. Make sure they have paid gross of tax not net of tax.DaisyDayDreamer wrote: »Wonder if you can advise, have received Barclaycard offer today, which part of the interest do I need to inform the tax office about?
