Hi there, i recently withdrew £1000 from my account, but on checking my statement, the teller has added £1000 to my account instead of withdrawal, therefore there total will be £2000 down, the £1000 they have given me, and the £1000 added to my account.
As it is the weekend should i phone their 24 hour hotline, thanks

    Hi

This may have been requested before, but my eyes won't let me read all of them, So apologies if this is a repeat question.

I have been with 'We fight any claim' to re-claim a PPI miss sell. This has been ongoing since Sept 2010. The company that I took out the loan with, is
no longer trading (liquidation). WFAC have said it now goes to 'Financial Services Compensation Scheme' I have a form to fill in, which is an Initial Enquiry Questionnaire. I feel after all this time and endless wasted phone calls to WFAC, that I am right back at the beginning!

Does anyone know how FSCS works? As it is compensation, does this mean I will get a smaller payout? Do they just pay a percentage of my final figure? (which is around £1500)

I paid WFAC their fee upfront (£245), But feel that because they had got their money, they could drag their feet. I found out about the company I had the loan with going into liquidation myself and told them! and now it being handed over to FSCS, so I really feel that WFAC have not done anything for their money. Plus their fee was based on me getting the full amount back. Would I be right in saying I could ask a refund of some of the fee?

Sorry about me waffling in! lol

You could ask the company to justify the fee they are going to charge you,as you instigated the claim yourself,i would tell them that you think the 245 you gave them is more than the actual work they put into this, and you would like them to cancel the contract you have with them, dont know if this will work, but it is worth a try.

FSCS give 90% of the ppi as compensation.

    Hi,

This is my first PPI post so apologies if this has already been asked a lot.

I have just had a letter from the FOS to say that Lloyds TSB would be making me an offer, but I'm keen to get all the fact together before their offer comes in so that I know they're not paying back less than they should. Does anyone have experience of Lloyd's offers? Are they likely to offer a realistic amount?

Also, it seems that at some point in 2008 the number of my credit card changed. I did not take out a new card so I'm not sure why this happened. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, would I have to submit a separate claim on the new number even though this is not really a new account?

    Thanks,

    MCN

Hi there, you accept the offer from Lloyds, when you get it, post the figures on here and someone will work it out for you,if it is wrong then you can go back to Lloyds you can ask them to look at this again.

Lloyds have to give the redress that FOS use,so you will get what you are entitled to.

I am not sure about the change of account number to be honest, but i am sure someone who does will post up for you.

i had two credit cards with ltsb over 12 years and the cards all had different numbers, the account numbers are the same just the 16 digit card numbers are different but i wouid put a complaint in for each account number not each card number when your card is renewed your card number changes. good luck:)

Section 3 from this link http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance#letmain has the necessary form, it is now a questionnaire which was done in conjunction of the banks and the Financial Ombudsman Service, fill in the form, keep a copy and send it off to your bank/lender's head office address, there are address's on here somewhere.

Hope this helps, and if you need help just ask.:money:
