            Hi All
Happy belated bday di hope it was a good one and you was spoilt lots!
Just a little update on the reclaims im doing for OH
Emails sent 18th July
Barclays> had to send 2 and then received 2 letters back on Saturday within 2 weeks one from a customer service advisor and one from Bob Diamond who is ceo and who i actually emailed, Thanking us for bringing it up, sorry there was a problem but due to backlog and being so busy etc we have been given a date of 8th November!!!! They do state it could be sooner. They also sent with this a questionnaire to fill in, is this standard please with Barclays?
Alliance and leicester which was 1 loan > Got automated response on email from Santander who i believe have taken these over but heard nothing back so ill be sending another tomorrow, does this seem fair after not hearing anything personal back after 2 weeks??
Black Horse which was 2 loans> they emailed us back straight away and said they would be back in touch within 2 weeks but heard nothing yet, am i ok to email them back tomorrow afternoon if nothing heard back during the day?
Many thanks xxx
Hiya
Thank you so much, I had a lovely day and was certainly spoilt rotten lol.:A;) X
Thanks for your update.
That is I believe standard of Barclays sending the questionnaire, but have you already completed one from this site?
If so then contact them and ask if the questionnaire you already completed is sufficient? I assumed they were all the same.
I would also chase up on the A&L case, I thought that Santander were dealing with these now? maybe someone will clarify, which is why you've not heard up to now, because they will be passed on from A&L to Santander but don't quote me on this in case I'm confused with another bank as such, what I would do is ring A&L who should be able to confirm.
Good luck on BH as well, hope you have some good news on these cases by tomorrow x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

They have to comply to the Data Protection Act (DPA), have you also made a point to Lloyds that you will contact the Information Commissioners office (ICO) in regards of this matter of the SAR Cappo?

hi i am still awaiting a reply to my comments sent in an email last week re my claims for misold ppi on 2 credit cards held with you in the 1990's, i have been told by your customer service team that i will receive the account/card numbers of all credit cards this week ending friday 05.08.11 i am also still waiting on your dsar team forwarding the sar information i have requested,i am now being told that unless you have a signature this will not happen. I have informed the dsar team that under section 7 of the data protection act it says nothing about having to provide a signature to appropriate a sar request,i have sent identification to the dsar team so they indeed know i am who i say i am and will expect this information shortly, failure to recover the aforementioned information will result in myself putting an official complaint into the fsa and ico,i would rather not have to do this as i have no personal animosity towards your bank but if i have been misold ppi on my credit cards and i know i have, i am entitled according to all the laws of the land to reclaim it, let me put it this way if i owed you money would you let it drop?0 -
Well I am stillwaiting on Aviva its been past the 15 days and they have informed me they need another 10 days , dowe think this is good or bad ? I really dont want to have to go down the fos route x0

I don't think it's a bad thing ellmae they could have given you a rejection in half the time,no news is probably good news, i think your wise not to let the fos have it, it's taking so long now, with mine now i'm only fossing them if i get a rejection. good luck and success :beer:0 -

Just my 2p - I think you're better off leaving out the personal element and keeping it straight, so if you do have to complain to FOS/FSA you can send them a copy
How about this? -
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am still awaiting a reply to the comments I sent to you last week via email with regard to my claim for misold ppi on 2 credit cards held with you in the 1990's
I have previously been informed by your customer services team that I can expect to receive the account/card numbers of all credit cards this week (week ending friday 05.08.11).
Whilst writing, I would also state that I am also still waiting on the information previously requested via a correct and lawful Section 7 data Protection Act request - your DSAR team are now stating that unless you have a signature this will not happen.
I have informed the DSAR team that under section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998, no reference is made to providing a signature and I also take the opportunity to remind both them and you that I have sent identification to them, clearly covering the requirement that the data supplier have confirmation of identity.
I now make a formal and clear statement that failure to recover the aforementioned information will result in a official complaint to the FSA and ICO with regard to your lack of cooperation and failure to meet the legal requirements of Section 7, DPA 1998 within the required timeframe of 40 calendar days.

Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

I have a claim going through with HFC it has been with FOS for over 14 months and l received a e-mail from my adjuicator last week to advise me:.
HFC Bank are planning to make offers on a number of their cases with us, and while I cannot guarantee that your complaint will be one of these, it is causing delays in our process. I will let you know when I have more information :
I am now wondering as HFC are now part HBOS and they appear to be making offers through FOS will some of us who have cases with FOS get a offer soon. Be interesting to know if HFC have made any offers lately through FOS
Hi all l still have no news my adjuicator is on holiday and HFC wont give me an answer, did email CEO of HSBC and was told they were investigating. Getting impatient now as dragged on for so long and really not want to be negative but not really hopefully because HFC are being so devious.
Wondering if anyone who is awaiting a claim through FOS with HFC have any news0 -
I have just been made an offer from Tesco Credit card which is great, but they say they don't keep records older than 6 years and can only pay the 5 years prior to that if I have statements.
I don't, but are they being truthful, surely they should know how much ppi has been paid?0
