    Cheers Di,

They have included all the ombudsman leaflet, but say that any complaints they cannot resolve may be referred to them, so i think its worth the 3nd letter, just to try,....what do you think??
Please be nice to all moneysavers!

    Hi Ellbee
Its good to hear from you.

Hope you and your family are well, especially your new baby grand-daughter, what a very hectic time for you.:A

    Hi Di,

Thanks for your reply. My granddaughter's doing well now, though gave us a scare last week when she had a setback. Fortunately she's back on track now and doing well.

I hope I hear something soon. It's very frustrating not getting any response, even if it is to say they haven't dealt with it yet!

Just hope that expression 'all good things come to those who wait' will apply to me in the not too distant future.

    Hope you're well.

    Hi Ellbee.

Could you try to ring them that may be quicker or write a letter. I know they are very busy and I have been kept waiting for ages by my adjudicator. I think thems that shout loudest get seen quickest.

    Hi maxdp

Thanks for your reply. I think you're probably right about 'thems that shout loudest'! It seems to apply in most things, usually to get them off your back! Never been one for shouting and making a fuss though. I have tried but I end up feeling sorry for the person on the other end of the phone!

I'll try another phone call tomorrow and hope I can speak to a real live person instead of an answerphone! If no luck there a letter's the next step. You'd think they'd send a quick reply by email, it wouldn't take a minute just to acknowledge that they'd received my email and would be in touch soon. I imagine they're up to their eyes in it at the moment though.

If you cant get through to your adjudicator, try just ringing the FOS number on their website and try to get through that way. x

Send another letter given them 14 days to respond, but ring the FOS and start the ball rolling with them.

They may cave in once the FOS are involved.

    Good luck

Hi everyone, I am preparing lettersto claim back PPI from Lloyds TSB (1 CC and 1 personal loan) and firstplus (loan), am I as well to do it myself, by following advice and templates of letters here, or, is it better to go through a company that deals with them?
    Thanks in advance

    Do it yourself.
Be prepared for the fob off letters but don't give up. There are people on here who will help and guide you all the way.

    Good luck
