    With pleasure.:A ;)

Personally I would try to keep them separate, but its up to you hun.
Even though you have the same reasons for each, maybe just make them aware in the loan letter you also want them to take a look at the letter enclosed about credit card ppi for the same reasons, they know then they have to still treat these the same as each other.;)

Ok then i`ll keep them separate then and again keep you posted and thanks your a star :A

Treat other people how you would like to be treated yourself and never forget the manners your parents taught you.

If you were told that you HAD to take PPI then I'd say yes you have a case. Though you may end up complaining to the Ombudsman and waiting until they review your case. This took almost a year for me but they ruled in my favour - thank God!
  • Hi there, I've got a query that I'm hoping I can get help with! I've received a cheque for £1746.66 from egg for missold PPI on an Egg loan. This loan was originally takem out in October 2003 with PPI amounting to £1,922.28. In the letter they say that £542.86 was refunded to me within a settlement figure in August 2008, leaving £1,382.42 remaining. They have calculated accrued interest to be £364.24, which seems rather low to me. In my eyes the interest should be on the full amount to August 08 then on the remaining balance from August to now. I used the template letter, which stated I expected 8% statutory interest. They have not identified in the letter what the basis of interest was. Does anyone have any idea what amount of interest I should have expected and if it is a lot more, how should I go about reclaiming the extra amount?

    Hi there
First of all I would contact them for as soon as possible and ask them to send/post you the full breakdown of calculations of this as you want to see them for yourself, you have the right to these, this way, when you have received them you can if you want to post them on here and someone here can check them out for you.
Hope this helps hun and you should know what is what then, but tell them you would appreciate it if they could send these to you for ASAP.;)

    Good luck

    Hiya hun
    Nice to hear from you.;)

Yes I remember something on this lol, right then so now I think its time to move on to Cardiff Pinnacle, enclose a copy of the letter you received from GE money to make them aware you have already been dealt with by these and if you've still got the copy of the letter you sent to GE money enclose that also, then in a separate letter tell them you will appreciate them looking into this complaint and refer to the enclosed letter that you originally sent GE money and hope to hear from them in the 8 weeks they have to investigate.

Unfortunately it is another 8 weeks here from the date on the letter you will be sending to them now, again post by recorded delivery so you can keep a track on them receiving this by the tracking section on the royal mail website, and to keep an eye on the 8 weeks they have.;)

Hope this helps and please feel free to post anytime for any further help.

(another way here is to ask and make sure with the FOS, who should be able to confirm for you to do this, they may even do this on your behalf, ask them if they would do this for you) X

    Good luck.
