Hi hun, just added a little more on the bottom of my last post about the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) if you require their details let me know.;)

GE money is probably where the money is banked and goes to, but you can always contact them just to make sure.;)

Hi. Since my last post a week or so ago (I'm losing track of time with running between work, home, work, visiting new granddaughter in hospital, more work, babysitting my 2 grandsons, work.........!!!!) I have sent numerous emails to the adjudicator who had been dealing with my case and also left messages on his answerphone but have still not received any response from him! I'm wondering whether he's died from exhaustion with the volume of work they're probably getting! I also emailed the main email address for the FOS and have received no reply from that either!! I'm losing the will to live with this now. It's been with the FSO since January last year, passed to an adjudicator who found in my favour but, obviously, Loans.co.uk disagreed so it was passed to the ombudsman back in August/September (I think). I emailed requesting fast tracking for hardship in December, which is the last time I heard from the person dealing with my case, apart from a brief telephone conversation in January.

Anyway, that's where I am at the moment, feeling really grouchy about the whole thing and wondering what on earth has happened to communication??? I will persevere though. The more time that goes by the closer I must be to getting a decision??? (I live in hope!)

Hope everyone who responded to my previous post is well, especially Di. Sorry if I haven't replied to anyone - still trying to find my way around the discussion board!!! And there are so many posts!!!!!!

    All the best.

Hi all, I have received a response from my PPI claim, with a cheque for the 8% interest of the PPI, £117.60. But could've got a total refund of £2,427.09, they have said this has gone to reducing the debt. Can i ask them to pay me that total ammount and carry on paying the sum agreed each month until the debt is paid or do i have to accept this cheque. The total ammount would really help me get on track right now!?!?!?
Please advise me as i don't know what to do next, Many thanks

    Hi Ellbee.

Could you try to ring them that may be quicker or write a letter. I know they are very busy and I have been kept waiting for ages by my adjudicator. I think thems that shout loudest get seen quickest.
