    Hi everyone,

Was really peed off after speaking to the FOS this morning, so I rang Tesco PF and spoke to my partners caseworker, as they sent a letter saying that they would only deal with him and not me as the ppi was in his name. He told me that he sent a letter to the FOS on the 23rd of Feb making an offer of goodwill gesture to my partner. I have rang the FOS and they are going to chase this up for me.

This is a relief as I thought it was going to drag on.

Will let you know when I get the offer in writing.

So for everyone out there GO FOR IT and if you need any help ask these guy's on here they are Brill.

I would also like to thank Marshallka,Di, Pinknico, Maxp, Dreamer33, Natalie6999, Deborah46 and everyone else who has help support me through this. :A

Have a cyber drink on me:beer:

    Hi
I have a claim in with the FOS re co-op mis-selling PPI with my loan, I got a letter on 4th Feb saying that Co-op were going to settle so I signed form and sent back to FOS, I got a letter back from them 12th Feb saying that the co-op would be dealing with me direct about the settlement and if I didn't hear anything within 4wks of the date of the letter to get back in touch with the FOS.

I still haven't heard anything and I don't know if I should ring them to chase up, is this a good idea or should I leave it till 4wks are up and them contact FOS about it.

    Thanks
    Shellbell :-)

    Hi Shellbell

As the time is approaching, there is no harm in contacting the FOS, they should then check on your behalf to be sure they are getting on with this, good luck and hope you receive this very soon.;)

Hello all, thought to post in here rather then start a new thread.
I have ppi with blackhorse which was taken out in April 05, i didnt know about the ppi untill recently as im an idiot for signing it but was young and clueless. Anyway ive just tried to claim on it now as i havent worked since christmas due to working in the constuction industry and was told i couldnt as im self-employed now, at the time i wasnt, although i was registered with a CIS card and still had to fill in tax returns.
I started working self employed properly about 6 months after taking the loan out and have been paying for it since despite not being covered it would seem.
At the time of taking it out i always had every intention of turning self employed once id finished serving my time, but the fact i would not be covered was not mentioned or shown on the credit agreement they have recently sent out. The loan application was done over phone and was a new loan to top up a previous loan i had with them. Any help would be appreciated before i get back to them over this.

    Hi there and welcome.;)

I would write to complain and reclaim, tell them the PPI is worthless to you with your reasons you have explained above.

Also check this out here for more info on PPI mis selling:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

Check other reasons out as well and if any of them also occur to you also add them on the letter as well.

There is a letter reclaim template on the link but try to use your own words if you can with obviously your own reasons.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full, if not successful first time another letter maybe required or until you exhaust their complaint procedures, post by recorded delivery.

They will let you know when you've exhausted their complaint procedures and should inform about the Finanical ombudsman services (FOS) if eligible with an enclosed leaflet.

Good luck and please post up if you require any further help.;)

    Hi There

They do seem to leave it to the last minute. We were not even informed and the money was paid straight into the bank account. I would perhaps leave it till the date is up as am sure it willbe paid by then.
