You could ring, as people have phoned banks and the claim has been taken over the telephone.

    Hiya

As amersall says, you can directly follow the procedures of making a reclaim on the banks websites now which is the same procedures on this site, the address details are also enclosed on the banking websites.

For your records as well, here is the emails via Lloyds who I have had several dealings with myself.

    customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

    And CEO
    antonio.osorio@lloydsbanking.com

    Good luck.;)

    Hiya

I am not too sure about the service charge, do you still have the policy details that may explain this perhaps?
Or you could check by googling, see if any details of the service charge comes up and take it from there.;)

Hi, if you believe that they ticked the box without your permission and the writing is not yours, then tell them this with a warning that if they do not repay the monies, you will issue a County Court summons against them to let the court decide. No financial institution wants to go to court being charged of fraud
    Hi,

Thanks for that advise. Can I also claim back charges and fee's they added to my account as a result of late payments? This would be due to the fact that they were taking £271 a month with the PPI, where as it should have been £95 less. I did struggle at times to those payments and I know they charged me many times. They never told me about the PPI durring any of my calls to them.

Hi jay people are being advised only to claim bank charges if in hardship at the moment but i don't see why not,you could try toting all your charges up if you have them there then contacting the lender advising them you'll be chasing the charges i would say personally it would be worth a try and you might just get the bank to refund your charges without having to chase them to the fos,it has happened to people,i'd try and give it a go. ame and di might also give you a heads up on this as i'll be honest bank charges arn't my forte.

which is the biggest news paper out there - could we not just give a story to them especially on CAP 1 to be investigated - as they are not playing ball at all.

    yeah its me still moaning.

Anyone know the email address for the CEO for CAP 1.

FOS have now taken my complaint waiting for their paper work so will see.

Hi rae the best one to ask about a newspaper story is martin but you'll have to be careful there, the slightest exaggeration and capital one would come down on us like a ton of bricks, don't know if martin would want to chance it however worthy and warrented.

    Thanks for this, Cappo...interesting reading.

I am at a loss as to what would have to happen to get the clout we need to support us in reclaiming what was wrongfully taken from us..but surely mounting pressure from people like us will bring about some change...?

Also, I may be cynical, but might we have had some "higher" input if this had been a general election year??;)
