Well done on your win :j have you checked your cc if it is still running, to see if they have credited it to your card?.
If not, then i would keep phoning ,they will soon get fed up and pay you just to shut you up :D:D:D

On MBNA website the only email is the internal one that you have to log into through your account,Di may know the email address if she has it, i am sure she will post up if she does.

Hi amersall

Yes, I've been checking my account to see if it's been credit but unfortunately I've had nothing . I'll hopefully hear from them soon and get it sorted. Its just frustrating waiting and waiting and waiting then you eventually think you're getting somewhere and hey ho you wait somemore... thanks :D

Hi there

Good luck on your reclaiming and hope you hear sooner rather than later, as they may still resolve your case before the extended timescales given by the FSA.

But for your records I have a emal addy here for you if you don't already have this, hope it works ok if you intend to use it, good luck and fingers crossed.;)

Hi ianc and welcome, i have 8 claims with hsbc going on at the moment, they are very very slow i put 3 in before the jr and i've not heard a dickie bird,i have heard though things are finally starting to move, expect the banks to take all of the time the fsa gives them although some cases might be quicker i had a LTSB claim processed in only 3 weeks.

Hi there, this will take time, people have posted to say how slow HSBC and BOS are, let the banks get on with it and hopefully all claims will be paid out by the deadline and i would think before as well ;)

Thank you both

What amazes me is that yes they want to hold onto our money for as long as possible, but seeing as they are going to have to pay us interest on our payouts at 8%, surely it is in their best interests to do it sooner rather than later???

The industry has apparently put asside Billions to cover the payouts.

The daily interest that they will be receiving on that will be handsome no doubt, but it most certainly isn't 8%, so they will be losing money daily in theory.

God I hope it is sooner than the deadline :D

I can understand its been frustrating, and with that of the JR that also got in the way at first, and now these extra timescales!
Fingers crossed.:)

Does anyone have an email address for MBNA? I was sent a letter about 6 weeks ago giving me good news about a payout from my Virgin Credit Card for approx £1500!!! :j (Happy days!). The letter stated I would have a cheque within 28 days. I've called MBNA however they've not been much help and said they would pass my information on to the PPI complaints dept to deal with and someone will contact me in the next 5 days!!! I did ask to be transferred to someone within the dept but said they could not do that but someone will contact me and let me know whats happening. Would be great if anyone has an email address - I could send them an email and hopefully get my cheque sometime soon! Thanks :D

I had a similar problem with MBNA that they sent me the refund balance but did not clear my account balance.
I sent an email to CEO ian.odoherty@bankofamerica.com and the card credit was done the next day

Hope this helps.

Hi - my husband received a letter back from Black Horse today. He doesnt really understand it all and is starting to get quite frustrated. We couldnt find any details of his loan with Black Horse so sent off a cheque for £10 with the standard SAR letter and today they have sent it all back (again this is the second time we have tried as the first time we just sent £1 asking for the agreement, etc). The letter states that "I have been undertaking searches of our systems and unfortunately I have not been able to locate an agreement for you with the information that you have provided. In order that we may comply with your request please provide us a valid agreement number with any further information, for example any previous address that may assist us in locating your details. Once we have located your agreement we will send the infrormation that you have requested. Please find enclosed your original request and £10 payment with this letter, which can be re-issued to us with any furture correspondence you send.

We dont have the agreement number and have lived at this address since 1986 - so is that it can we not continue with the claim any further? I was under the impression that if we requested a SAR and enclosed the £10 they had to find the account details - or have I got that wrong too.

Also we sent off another couple of SAR requests with £10 but none of them have been cashed in yet. Do you think we have maybe done something wrong?

Hi Kay
Rang Capital one today and basically challenged them with everything i had but to no joy. After finally getting through a chap that could understand what i was talking about he basically said that their decision was final. They could not provide me with a copy of the trasnscript, neither could they provide me with any evidence supporting the fact that they said i purchased the PPI 5 years later after opening the original account.
Does anyone have the email address for teh CEO of Capital One please

Hello,
Your story is the same as mine.
Did not sign the PPI form in 2003 but was told I agreed to PPI when I rang to activate a card in 2005. I cannot remember doing this and asked them to provide a transcript of the phone call. They wrote back saying they could not do so.
Wrote to them again last week and complained to the FOS stating I did not require it in the first place why would this change.
Will keep you informed

Hi there, sorry to hear this, they should have found you from address and dob!!, do you have the settlement figure for this? as in your earlier post re Black Horse, you said the settlement date, if you paid this through your bank,is it possible that the account number is there? just a thought.

Failing that your hubby should phone them and dont come off the phone until they "find" him,he should give them the settlement figure, this may help.

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could help me?

I have sent off a PPI claim to Shop Direct Financial Service regarding a Choice account I had in the past. Can anybody tell me if they are owned by Halifax? Only i received a letter from Halifax stating that they are looking into my claim but I have sent claims off for my previously owned credit cards also, however I do not believe that Halifax are linked to any of my credit cards.

Help please, I am confused!

Many thanks.
