RBS - I subbmitted copies of both loan agreements, which were sold over the phone. The 2 PPI's in this case total almost £9000. They first came back saying my signature on my claim form didn't match their records, then they said the PPI ref numbers were invalid. I'm now waiting to see what crap they come back with.
Plus any writing expert would glady say that signatures and hand writing change with age, I know mine's now at the darker side of thirty something is a lot different from when I first signed my first loan and the tender age of twenty. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
Did they ask you to send in proof of ID at all, I had to go to a branch of the bank with some photo ID to have it checked and sent back to the department dealing with it, once I done that it started going ok, although my claim has just gone in.

Should've also said that they should be able to prove their claim if it was sold over the phone. In regard to the PPI number I had 6 out of 7 loans over 6 years with RBS and not one had a seperate PPI policy with a new number, I only ever received the loan agreement, and thats all you should need for the reclaim. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -

Yes they did. I gave them my D/L and asked for a copy of the form they were sending in. I then sent a copy of that along with all my loan agreements and PPI certificates, so let's wait and see what comes of it.:j:j:j MY PPI JOURNEY :j:j:j

Well i've just got off the phone to Halifax Customer Services. They rang me after another email I had sent to the CEO of Lloyds. Funnily enough I managed to get the same lady who I spoke to last week! She didn't seem very happy that i'd sent another email so soon and said "I thought I had explained it all to you properly last time"! So I asked if they had begun to deal with complaints yet and she said no they are still waiting! She said that is all she can tell me for now. I did also ask about complaints dealt with by end August if they were put in before 6th May and she said they WILL TRY to have complaints dealt with by then and I did stress that mine should be dealt with sooner than then as they've been with Halifax 6 months so far!
They need to get cracking!! Can't understand the hold up, they should of started dealing with these complaints weeks ago!
Halifax are currently advertising for 25 staff to deal with the claims locally in Leeds. Its about time:eek:0 -

Hi there
You should at least get the last 6 years, and if you still have (or if they still happen) to have the details, they may possibly go back all the way.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi all sent my SAR letter to Lloyds Tsb with the £10 fee . I got back details of loans with them but nothing of my credit card details. I downloaded the letter from this site it does say all my accounts with you. Do i have to send another £10 for a SAR for credit card details Great site loads of help thanks oggie
Hi there
How long ago did you take out the credit card with Lloyds?
You should'nt have to send another request, basically Lloyds should have sent all data they hold on you going back at least the last 6 years, however its known they have gone back even earlier than that as well.
Did you use the actual bank account number (if banking with them)? when requesting a SAR?
I would recontact them and tell them you don't believe all data have been sent.
Its a possibility as well they may still have more data to send if the 40 calendar days have not passed yet, but I would contact them to make sure, and do not send another payment.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I submitted all my questionnairs and am slowly getting my responses. So far
Abbey - (GE Capital) - sent a copy of my original storecard agreement where I supposedly ticked the box for PPI. It is so blatently obvious that I didn't tick it as my ticks are the opposite direction. So they say I have no case. They have told me to contact the FLA if I wish to persue.
Littlewoods Index - They say I agreed to the policy and I could have cancelled at anytime so they are closing my case.
Fashion World - They say the account was opened over 6 years ago, they do not keep records going back any further so I have no case.
RBS - I subbmitted copies of both loan agreements, which were sold over the phone. The 2 PPI's in this case total almost £9000. Originally I was looking for approx £15,000 back in charged PPI. At this rate I'll be lucky if I recover my recorded delivery postage. What upsets me is this is all money I unwittingly paid out and so desperatly need back.
This really does suck.
The RBS are now famous for fob off's.
The CEO, Stephen Hester is the man to talk to although he does pass the buck down the line to his staff who cannot read letters properly and respond with stupidity.

You will probably get a return letter full of junk, that is Stephen Hester for you, the man who stated that tax payers money "leaked" into the RBS bonus culture. ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND = FRAUD AND THEFT0 -
