ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND -- AKA STEPHEN HESTER
For those of you who read my post a while back, I told you that I had a fob off reply from one of Hester's lower level staff saying
"you have not provided further information
I asked HESTER "what information was required" ???
Today I get another "fob off" letter saying ...
I am sorry you are unhappy that Mr Hester did not reply to you personally. Regrettably, our Board of Directors receive an extraordinary amount of mail and it is not possible for them to respond to all correspondence"
IT GOES ON THE SAY ...
I am also sorry we have been unable to find a mutual conclusion to your case ... contact the FOS ???
WHAT !!!!!-- I ASKED HESTER " "what information was required" ???
I am not surprised that the board of directors get an extraordinary amount of mail ... are YOU ? .... the way the RBS treats people
NOW, I have accused RBS of fraud for lying and selling me a policy that was not worth the paper it was written on .. THEY FAIL TO RESPOND TO THAT ..... I wonder why ?
It is my belief that THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND have no intention of repaying people monies taken on a fraudulent basis.
Whilst I will complain to the FOS, I also think that the RBS are using the FOS as breathing space for delaying refunds. This is at a time when the FOS are inundated with complaints, the RBS clearly want to clog up their system more
BARCLAYS Bank are now the leaders in repentance and for that we must congratulate them, indeed, they deserve to gain accounts from the likes of the RBS/NETWEST
Have you seen the Natwest TV advert ... "helpful banking" what utter rubbish they spout ?"
Lloyds TSB, well a meeting half way but still not convinced they have genuine motives
MY NEXT STEP:
As the RBS/ Hester are acting like a back street loan company, clarification is now needed for the good of the general public
I have therefore asked my MP (Conservative), to look into the fraudulent activities of the RBS and report back to me
It is not just the mis-selling of PPI's, you and I want to know how taxpayers money was "leaked" into the bonus culture of the RBS, headed by Stephen Hester. he took £7m in bonuses how can that be ??
When the going gets tough, the tough get going and believe me, through the internet, the media, we will sort the RBS0 -

Hi
Was after thoughts on my chances of success.
I had a loan with barclays back in 2001 with PPI at the time did not realise that I was covered via an income protection plan I had with AXA.
Needed to make a claim due to husband being sick for a year back in 2003 for which both barclays & Axa paid out although AXA did take off the amount that barclays paid from their payments to us.
Any ideas on my chances of success with the mis-selling of the Barclays PPI due to already being covered with AXA & having a claim with them.
As AXA deducted the amount Barclays paid from their payout to us my thoughts are that We had been paying twice for the same amount of cover that AXA would have paidout on just their cover.
I have sent the claim form off to barclays but would like your thoughts as to our chances of success.
many thanks in advance.0 -
I may get the same prbs as well Cappo, but i remember the years and the monthly amounts and with it being lloyds (which is why i do think you had ppi) ppi was definately added, so going to get on with these in the next following days/
I'll get to the bottom of it,i'm sure i would'nt have taken out a credit card and not had the ppi,It just proves guys the banks will stop at nothing to put you off claiming what's rightfully yours, stick with it.0 -
Hi all - finally got my statements from Nat West re the credit card I had. They only sent them for the past 6 years but I originally opened this account on 28/11/2000 (if you have read my previous posts I didnt have to pay the standard £10 the girl just said she would sort it for me, which was very kind of her but I had had a messing around with them). The credit card was originally a Nat West Air Miles card but when Air Miles stopped being involved it just became an ordinay Air Miles card. If this is held up by Nat West and they decide to pay me out what they owe me (but the way my luck is going I somehow cant see them doing it, its just the way my luck seems to go) will they have to go back to 2000 or just to 2005 as this is just where the statements they have sent me go back to.0

Hi,
Can anyone help... just had a letter back from Egg re:my account information as per Consumer Credit act, and they have responded with 'as the account is now closed, we are under no obligation to comply with a copy of the executed agreementunder the CCA as we no longer have a contractual relationship ..... it goes on to say that they are no longer obliged and have returned my £1 cheque.... does this mean I can't get my information.... I cant remember whether I had PPI on this card.... Thanks Jo0 -

Hi there
with it being 2006 you finished the loan, that was 5 years ago, they will or should still hold details, of at least the account number and what you were paying a month.
You could either try your luck by calling into the branch, if you have the bank account number, they should still be able to go into your details.
Or try experian or equifax that hold details from the last 6 years.
It does not matter if you cannot get the details from the beginning of the loan.
Or request a SAR (Subject Access Request).
Hope this helps.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hiya
It seems a lot are having problems with getting hold of any data recently doesn't it?
Again I suggest to call into a HSBC bank and ask them to go through all the data, they may say they only hold up to the last 6 years, but in SAR requests some have actually received data going back 10/11 years or so.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi there
If you think you have a case, then give it a go anyway, no harm in doing so with your reasons.
Just follow the procedures of reclaiming below, step 3 of a reclaim questionnaire, complete and send to the head offfice or complaints dept of whoever sold you the policy, allow 8 weeks and keep copies of paperwork as well, good luck.
