PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me on where i go with my PPI reclaim.
I originally sent a complaint to MBNA in November 2010 to reclaim my PPI and request the policy be cancelled with immediete effect. MBNA took months to come back to me as they kept saying they were looking into it. Eventually they came back saying the complaint had been put on hold awaiting decision from the courts. However this has now come back and I still havent heard anything.
MBNA still are not willing to cancel my PPI as the complaint was on hold, I'm frustrated that I'm still paying for the policy and have recently had to give up work on health grounds and the policy is completely useless to me. I have tried writing to MBNA but now they are not responding to any of my letters. I dont understand why some peoples complaints were put on hold but others were paid out? Can anyone advise where i go from here?
Thank you0 -
Hi all!
Please help.
I have recently been trying to get a copy of my loan agreement from lloyds tsb (with a view to claiming back the PPI).
At first they said that it would take a few weeks for them to retrieve it from their archives.
I waited three weeks and called them back today only to be told that they could not find the original agreement. They apologised and said that they are still looking but are not very confident of finding it as the agreement is about six years old.
I am aware that the window for claiming back my PPI might be closing and I get the feeling that Lloyds might be fobbing me off until the opportunity has passed.
What can I do?
keep asking, emailing the ceo if necessary, thats what i did and got all my account numbers and actually reclaimed 1 (so far) misold ppi from a loan taken out 16 years ago. It's never to far back to claim0 -

There's no reason for the banks to have anything on hold or there to be anymore delays now,be patient the cases will all get sorted out in time. If upheld you'll get full interest (probably) up to the signing of the agreement and as you know the fsa have just given the banks an extension now to 16 weeks i believe to investigate new claims although i don't think it applies to previous cases on hold. hang in there don't send your case to the fos at the mo it will get looked into0 -
Thank you very much for your post. You have been a great help.
I will get on to Lloyds straight away.
Thanks again.

Hello, can anyone tell me if you have to fill a seperate PPI-consumer questionare for each loan you have had. I personally have had 7 in the last 6yrs each with the RBS. And do you have to supply the loan agreement number or the PPI agreement number, because I have the Loan Details ( ie acct number ) only so far.
Any help gladly appreciated.

It's best to fill in a separate ppi questionaire for each loan although i don't think you have to and you would need the ppi account number and loan account number0 -
Thanks Cappo, quicker than any call centre any phone, I,ll start work now. Got to get the PPI numbers now.
