it must be a good sign as i sent off 6 claims altogether (i didnt check if i had ppi first just had a feeling on all of them that i might have had) and got one back from hsbc with in a week saying that i didnt have ppi on it or so it seems the others are still under investigation so i presume like another poster said they are dealing with the ones who havent got ppi the quickest just because its easier0

Like Di said it makes sense maybe that they would give a team a little bit of training enough to be able to recognise the no hopers (apologies if any posters have had there claims rejected recently) and these can pick out cases with no ppi,no valid reasons for missale etc and keep the experienced teams for the missold cases that have got a good chance of a bank uphold now,and of course with the new fsa ruling maybe the banks are thinking it's not so benficial to just "fos" them as the cases that are missold on the new fsa rules are automatically going to get upheld,i even hear the fsa are talking about banning un-advised cases which personally i think is a very good thing0 -

yes i quite agree cappo it would make much more sence i should of mentioned that i rang all of my banks ect first by telephone to check if there was in deed ppi insurance on them so im not a chancer lol
it might cut the waiting list down by at least half if this was the case0 -
Hello,
I took out the following Loans with PPI included in the past - the Company concerned has agreed to settle, however I'd appreciate some advice (please) as to how much money I could receive as pay back of the PPI:
Year Total Loan Amount PPI Included Loan Duration
2001 £26879.35 £5823.64 84 months
Nb - this Loan consolidated - see that below:
2004 £36603.54 £8915.54 96
Nb - this Loan consolidated - see that below:
2006 £35837.34 £8076.13 98
Nb - against the 2006 Loan I am now paying reduced amounts by agreement - this running for approximately one year - however the PPI element has NOT been deducted from the Loan at this stage - the Loan in effect still running.
Any advice you can give would be very much appreciated - I realise this is complicated, hence my reason here for seeking advice - I am assuming that the settlement would include all three Loans with this (the same) Company, however not confirmed yet. Very many thanks in anticipation. Mike.0 -

Hi there
Well done on your success!
And in regards of calculations that is a sore point for me;), but there are some on here who will know and be happy to check them for you.
You can also expand on this as well, so it doesn't get missed, post a new/separate thread - still within these reclaiming threads, give it a title like "PPI Calculation Help" and I'm sure someone will be along at some point, I have posted a link/thread for you below ready if you want to do this, good luck.

Hi Donda
Have you actually tried writing/emailing the CEO/Manager as well?
Hope you hear soon.
I am actually dealing with HFC now but the Customer Service email is not any longer live, so if you do have any email details directly to these, that would be a great help, thank you.
Keep at the hun x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

What I done in regards of HFC as mine is just a query I sent a letter a few days back,so didn't use the complaints address, just the general one.
I will check the ones you require and get back soon ok.:)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
