Hi there, in a previous post you made, you said Lloyds/Rbs, is this correct? as RBS are not in the lloyds group. that is just BOS they are 2 different banks.
I believe RBS are part of natwest.

Sorry if i have got this wrong.
Do you have 2 claims in for RBS and BOS?.
If you do this is disgusting for both to treat you like this.

Have a complaint with both Natwest/RBS and BOS/Lloyds.
Now have movement from Natwest following email to CEO and should expect a final decision within 10 days!
BOS/Lloyds getting no where  - have emailled FSA and Ombudsman to ask which one I complain to about mis-handling of complaints. I believe BOS have already been fined for mis-handling investment complaints.

Will keep you posted. It's very frustrating that they are allowed to get away with this sort of behaviour with no comeback.

was wondering can i put a claim in for this and how to find out details of the loan
many thanks brian

Hi Brian

If you can get hold of the loan acc numbers that is normally shown on your statements and you know for definate you were sold and have reasons for being mis sold you can still continue to make a reclaim.
Good luck.

Follow the steps below to the reclaim questionnaire.

Sorry, my mistake :o:o

They should be made accountable for all these
"time wasting tactics"
and i believe that is what they are, hope you get this sorted and dont wait too much longer.

Hi everyone,

Apologies for anyone who has already read this int he loans section, but there were no answers, so I am wondering if you guys would have any idea.

I have a loan which is currently with a Debt Management Plan (please do not castrate me for it though) but I have recently had a PPI payout close to £5k which automatically was paid back into my loan (due to the DMP - I am not arguing, best place for it!).

Now the question is, does that mean that on paper my loan term is reduced in length, or my contractual payment is reduced.

Obviously I do not want to ask the lender directly first as they will tell me what they want me to hear.

Well done on your win :j:j
Not sure about this, but you need to find out if the "win" was paid to your loan (i think it will have been) if it has, the contractual payment will reduce by the ppi monthly amount, the loan term remains the same but the ppi is taken off therefore reducing the balance you owe.

.

Hi Mandy1cat - may I ask when you put your claim in to RBS?

I have just spoken to RBS about my 2 NatWest loans. I put the claims in at the end of January but they were placed on hold due to the JR.
I have just been told that they are working 24 hours a day and taking on extra staff to deal with the backlog. According to them they are dealing with those on hold before new claims. I was told it could be at least 2 to 3 months before I may hear anything.

I put my complaint with Natwest/RBS in back in November 2010. In December they asked for more info saying the a/c no was wrong so I wrote back saying... strange you are taking money from my current a/c and paying into the a/c no quoted... if this incorrect please refund all payments of every penny blah, blah, blah... Heard nothing so wrote again and still no reply... phoned and told all on hold... phoned again and told you're in the backlog... phoned again and asked what complaint? So I emailled Stephen.Hester@rbs.co.uk the CEO and got a reply yesterday saying I will get a decision in 10 days!!!!!

Maybe you should email him too.

Well done and Congratulations!

I would get in touch with the dept who deals with your payments, and as such lump sum have been refunded - maybe you could ask them to now do this the way easier for you perhaps, again well done!;)
