    Hi there,

You're not the only one that has had trouble with Barclaycard. It took me 4 months and 4 letters to finally get a copy of my agreement. I even phoned them after the fourth letter to be told that I didn't have PPI on my account! A couple of weeks later and I finally got a copy through the post, only to show that I did have PPI on it after all!
I was just about to give up with them too because I trusted the lady on the phone when she assured me I had no PPI. You can't trust any of them.

Keep on at them and good luck! :)

    Thanks, I most certainly will!
I get the impression that they are not going to be a good organisation to deal with, so am ready for a fight...but not telling you the truth about PPI on an account is just shocking!
If this is how they treat customers, am betting lots of PPI was mis sold!

Good luck to you too...will get my third letter ready to send I think!:)

Hi boycey,i had this with Ltsb, luckily i remembered from all those years ago (16),It was only the fact that i had always applied ppi on my accounts going back to the year dot and our Di giving me the email addy of there ceo that i got sorted.

Glad you got it sorted Cappo. :)

I was pretty sure I had PPI on my Barclaycard, but when the woman said I didn't I began to doubt myself! Just glad I finally got a copy of the agreement, although it is a very bad copy. I sent the FOS questionnaire to them about 10 days ago so just waiting for confirmation now.

Thanks. Yes i'm thinking the same. I'm sure they will put up a hell of a fight if it's taking us this long just to get a copy of our agreements. Can you imagine how difficult the rest of the process is going to be! But I am ready for them! :)

Yes I know, wish I had got the woman's name because I would of made a complaint about her too!

    Keep us posted :)

Actually, that's a sound idea...any names, helpful or otherwise, I will post, just incase it is of use.
I agree, this is going to be a long, drawn out business...but makes me even keener to keep going!:)

I think your heading in the right direction, think though of all the people the banks have put off claiming by making them think they have to jump through hoops to get there money back, which we all do most of the time, thank goodness for forums like this which explain what peoples rights are.

    Hi there,

Would have to agree, I think the banks thought it would go their way, and now some are delaying communications by as much as they can.
On the day of the judgement, I wrote to Barclaycard asking for a copy of my agreement...( stupidly, did not send recorded delivery!)..and today, having heard nothing at all, am writing again! How bad is that?

Well done to everyone on this forum who keeps on at their lenders, it is so encouraging to see them succeed.:)

( Sorry to hear about your kiddie's injury, Di...you can't take your eyes of them for a minute can you?) x

    Hiya

Yes I agree in regards of the banks, the tables have now turned and they MUT get on with these rulings now, it will take them some getting used to I think.

Drat, sorry to hear that, well they have 12 days to send you the agreement, good luck this time round.

LOL, the injury was with my oldest son :o he will be 23 this year, and I'm still like an old mother hen to him, he hates it :o:D, but still:rotfl:, he was ok this morning before leaving for work, but will see later on when he gets home. Thanks though hun x:A

I have had a mortgage, including ppi, with Britannia for nearly seven years and after reading about all the successes regarding missold ppi, I thoroughly read the terms & conditions of mine!
I have been a frontline response bobby for over seven years and am always in the firing line of angry drunks, drug addicts, burglars trying to run away from me & more besides! My point being that in the terms an conditions of my mppi it states that I wouldn't be covered if I wilfully exposed myself to danger!
    I don't see how I cannot!
Also, this was arranged in the full knowledge that I was a police officer.
Has anyone, bobby or not, had a similar experience, or could offer advice (I do intend to write to them about this) as the wording 'wilful exposure to danger (exept in an attempt to save human life)' is pretty vague!
    Thanks in advance

Not much of an update really but since I emailed the CEO of Lloyds last Thursday, I received a phonecall off Halifax today (which I missed because of being at work again!) and I received a letter from Black Horse. Halifax left an answer phone message asking to call them back. I was hoping it was going to be good news but i've just rang them and all they could say is that over the past few weeks they've been waiting for the new rules to be in place for how they process complaints. The man said that they are very near to start processing complaints and he see that mine has been with them quite a long time so they should get round to mine in the next few weeks!! (Lets hope anyway!)
The letter I got from Black Horse was basically saying the same, it states "I can confirm we have both complaints registered and we will deal with your complaints as soon as possible, unfortunately at this present time I am unable to provide any timescales, however, we will let you know once we can resolve your complaint". Very frustrating!!

    Hiya

    Cheers for your updates.
    So your still waiting then?

And it was the CEO side of it you emailed via Lloyds wasn't it?
Sure its the same ones for Halifax as well, will double check on this.

I know how frustrating this can be, but stay strong now, you will get there, I promise.;)
