Have been trying to email all the addresses now over several weeks and ALL emails have been returned as undelivered via Lloyds Postmaster for varying reasons including being rejected by their spam guard.
As Andrea Barry gave me specific email addresses to reply to for her personal attention do you not think this is completely unacceptable behaviour on their part? Should I make a complaint to the FSA about BOS's mishandling of my complaint?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Hi there, just left you a post on the other thread as well.
You could contact the FSA on this, and the way you been treated is not right, although I would ring the FSA, speak to someone direct for the quickest way, fingers crossed Mandy x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
FOS/PINNALCE UPDATE
I decided to give FOS a call to see how my claim is progressing yesterday. I was told that it is still in the queue for the adjudicater pah!! The woman stated that they are looking at claims going back further than my 21 monthsI told me there was a letter winging its way to me.
So the postie comes this morning and I open the letter only for it to be a repeat of the last one.....Your case is complex and is still be looked at!!!! Hmmmm. I think I will put in another call next week asking them to clarify this. I have waited this long so accept the delay with all the claims but to be given two different reasons is unacceptable.
Just thought I would update just in case anyone else has been waiting for the adjudicator, if I get a better explaination that is relevant I will post up.
Take care all and good luck.
Hi FM, thanks for posting uo with your update.
And fingers crossed that the next time you hear there will be a good result x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Been reviewing family finances over the past few weeks and discovering loads of opportunities to get back monies I should not have paid.
Santander coughed up £1497 withing 3 days of my challenge but are dragging their heels over the A&L and GE accounts I challenged but has acknowledged the claim.
RBS is taking its time as well but has acknowledges the claim.
Marbles (now Halifax) has acknowledged our claims but has denied responsibility for my wife's one as they say its HSBC. Strange as both applications for cards were submitted the same day within 30 minutes of each other over the web.
Personally speaking I think they have got her mixed up with someone else as the letter refers to her client!!! I think I will have to call them for clarification.
Well done on your success with Santander:T:T:beer:, and good luck with the others too.
Yes goiod idea to get some clarification on that one, something quite not right there, and with huge amounts of complaints, you could be right, and someone else in the team may have dealt with this one.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Finally received all my details from M&S on PPI payments from Sept 03 to Oct 10 and it wasn't as much as I thought, although it still added up to around £1300. They also could only provide my original storecard application from Sept 1994 where I definitely hadn't ticked the PPI box, so presumably the charges started when they issued the Mastercard to replace the storecard in 2003. So I completed the template and sent it yesterday by Recorded Delivery - fingers crossed now for the right result although like everyone here, I don't want to get my hopes up!!something missing0

I think we're all quite surprised i know i certainly was by the banks apparent lack of interest since the judicial review (still) in getting these claims progressed, they need to be getting on now but from what i can see only a trickle of cases seem to be getting progressed to "final response" stage. What are these banks playing at?0

Couldn't agree more and it is so frustrating. I have claims on hold with Opus, Barclays, NatWest and M&S money. Nothing has progressed at all. No updates and if you ring get told they will get around to them. Barclays actually said don't bother ringing back for at least a month!0 -
I think the tactic is to try to get you to give up so they don't have to pay out.
A lot of people will not have the energy or willingness to push this to the limit and may give up easily, thus saving on payouts.
If you do not give up they will continue to hide behind investigations and other ways to delay.
I would say - if in doubt refer onto the Ombudsman.0
