Hi there, do you have a counterfeit driving licence?
Sorry could not resist :rotfl::rotfl:
I think this is just a stalling tactic, put a complaint into FOS.
They think they can just fob people off and it will be accepted.

I'm having a blonde day ! Sorry.
I meant Counterpart. I'm sending both to them and see what happens. At least they are not telling me to ;get lost .
Thanks xx:)0 -

PERSONAL ATTENTION OF STEPHEN HESTER, GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Dear Sir,
I refer to my letter dated 9th May addressed to you.
This was passed to Scot Mclellan who subsequently passed it to a Maxine Doherty.
The letter from Maxine Doherty states:-
" However, as you are unable to provide any additional information for me to take into account, I am unable to change my previous decision" ???
I would suggest that this is a letter designed to disuade genuine claimants of mis sold ppi to not take the matter any further and that your bank actually has no intention of repaying mis-sold PPI's.
I have requested from you on numerous occasions proof beyond doubt that your salesman who sold me the PPI, did so correctly.
I requested a transcript of the telephone conversation. On both counts these requests have been ignored .
If your bank cannot provide this information, you are not actually in a position to state the policy was correctly sold to me.
My claim for compensation against the RBS, which you already have, will stand, as i believe i was mis sold ppi, and ask that this claim is looked at again and my request for telephone conversations dealt with as a matter of urgency.
Copies of this letter,
with my original claim and all correspondence between myself and
your bank, will be sent to the FOS and FSA.
As i believe i have been treated with disdain regarding this matter.
And request that you give this matter your urgent attention.
Yours faithfully
I have tweeked this a bit hope you dont mind, your version was a bit ranting and accusing:D:D
You catch more flys with sugar than you do with acid;)
I just made that up !!!!!! but you know what i mean0 -

Hi, thanks for your input. I am sure others can use that as template.
With Mr Hester one has to rant and of course it is accusing, they stole my money and mis-sold a policy and YES, I am accusing them of fraud. Being nice has now gone by the board with THE RBS

Hello Di, Thanks for all your help in the past - I was wondering if you think this may be a 'delaying' tactic on behalf of Welcome Finance.
I put in a claim for PPI about 6 weeks ago, they acknowledged it and then wrote to me asking me to send my original passport or driving licence to verify identification. I sent my Driving Licence and received it back from them 4 days later saying they were processing my claim. This was 3 weeks ago. I then received a letter this morning asking me to send my original Driving Licence , not a copy, which I have already done plus the counterfeit. I rang them and they said they should have asked for the counterfeit before. This of course is delaying things even further. Interested to know what you think.

Hi Kay
Hope your well and not a problem at all.
Sorry for the late reply, not been here so much today, but I can see our amersall have replied and I would go along with her advice.
Good luck on this. xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi to all,
I have a loan with Welcome Finance and recently found out that I have PPI attached to it. I was not aware of it. Their new account manager was asking if I would like to increase my monthly payments with a better rate. In the process she told me about the PPI and that's when I knew. This happened in March.
Recently I received a letter from Financial Services Compensation Scheme (fscs) asking me if I wish to make a claim for compensation from Welcome Finance.
Exact quote "If you wish to make a claim for compensation to the FSCS in respect of a payment protection insurance policy sold to you by Welcome Financial Services Limited(WFSL), you will need to complete and return the application form. If you wish to make a claim and did not receive our earlier letter or application form, or need another copy, or if you have any queries about the form, please contact the customer services team on 08453730386, or email claimanthelp@wfs.co.uk.

Pls advise because I was planning to claim using MSE template. Is this genuine or some company trying to make money from me?:question:0 -
Hi! Head spinning with all of this and I have so many questions so hope you don't mind but I will be mithering you all for info. My questions this time are:
Going through some old statements for credit cards I was paying PPI at first but then years down the line it stops. I think I must have cancelled at this point but obviously didn't realise then that I should have complained about it being mis-sold to me in the first place. Can I still claim for mis-selling now?
Is it worth requesting the original agreement for credit cards closed in the last 5 years or so. These had PPI until closed but don't know whether I can claim mis-selling without the original agreement or should I just send off the claim form without.
I've found a couple of statements back to 2004 for a Wallis store card which has something called 'Accident Cash Plan' on it. Have absolutely no idea what this is.:o Any ideas? This card doesn't appear on my credit report with Equifax so must have closed over 6 years ago. Is it too late to pursue? If not, the card was with Creation Financial Services, any idea who I would contact now.
Sorry for all the questions but I'm struggling a bit with information overload and want to make sure I understand as much as possible before putting in the forms. I really am very grateful for any advice.:)0 -

Hi all,
Hoping for some advise about a credit card taken out with Halifax some 5 years ago. I do not have any paperwork for them and when I called them up today they couldn't find any details for me. So what do I do her? I have them on my Experian credit report but that does not show credit card number of if I was paying any insurance. Should I just write to them anyway as a stab in the dark and see what happens or should I try and retrieve the credit agreement first?
Can someone please advise when is the last date we can put in claims for PPI?
Thank you!!!0 -

If you have valid reasons for mis sell then yes.
Look here for reasons for mis sell.

You need the account numbers to make a claim, have you any old statements you can get this off? if not then write to each cc company asking for your cc agreement and enclose £1 for each agreement, give as much info as you can so they can find your account, address date of birth etc.
