    hi

help would be very much appreciated.

i have had about 3 loans with beneficial finance probably started taking loans with them around 2000. all loans have been paid off. all 3 loans were sold to me with ppi inhouse and i was told that the loans were unlikely to ba approved if the ppi not taking. also feel with my employment i get 6 months full pay during sickness and ppi is not relevant but as i said was told loan would be declined if not taking.

    so.....

want to reclaim this but want to check im going the right way about it. i have no account numbers or documentation regarding these loans so do i firstly send a sar to hfc ( who i believe now take over beneficial) giving all details ie name address previous addresses dob etc, send a po for £10 (do you make the po payable to hfc as no longor have check book but hey thats another story, and wait and see what i get back?
if you can let me know im starting in the right direction it would be much appreciated all info i have gained so far has been reading through threads. its a great site
    thanks

Hi Can you claim for a mis selling mortgage protection insurance which ended 12 years ago We paid it for many years and when we needed to make a claim. my husbands illness was mental we were told we could not claim any money if we had been told this at the time that there was exclusions we would not have taken out the PPI
  • Hi all,

Im new here and was hoping someone can help me, I have contacted Barclays for a copy of my loan agreement dated back to 2007 as I want to complain and hopefully reclaim some missold PPI, when speaking to them they told me that the loan I took out in 2007 was paid up in 2008 and I know this is not correct as I hadnt paid it off, and they were taking the money from my account each month. Ive asked for a copy of the loan agreement which they say has been paid up and was told it would arrive in the next 3 working days, which it hasnt. I will call them again and request a copy, but if I complain without a copy of the agreement my chances of reclaiming any PPI is reduced, but if they cannot find it surely I have no chance???

    Look forward to your comments.

    Thanks

hi all, some advice needed please i have found my original documents for a loan with alliance and leicester, i noticed ppi was added, i have the original document for the ppi, but on the document is a so called signature signed by my husband under the heading singed on 'behalf of the insurers', this is not and never has been my husbands signature, the monthly payment of ppi, was £55.17. as i have said before we went into a debt managment programme for this loan and whilst we have paid quite a considerable amount of money off on this loan now, we still are paying this off, do i have a claim this loan is older than 6 years, from now on i will take more time and attention over paperwork, i dont have anymore loans, i save for what i need now, thanks in advance

Hi there, BARCLAYS... dont ya just luv em :rotfl::rotfl:
Did you pay this loan by dd? if you did, look on your bank statements (if you have any) to see when you made the last payment, if you have interenet banking you should be able to go back and check this online.

I would ring them when you have this info and tell them when the loan was paid up (if it was) and that you want a copy of your agreement, failure to comply with this request will see a complaint into FOS.

Another thought, could this be another loan at all, and not the one you requested the agreement for?.

Hey there I still hadn't heard from Natwest so I went onto their website and in the bottom left hand corner of the personal banking section there is a PPI section with a number you can call to see what's happeneing with your claim....they didn't even have a record of mine so I had to do it with a guy on the phone he was lovely tho!!

Hi there, this could be whoever the insurance was with, and not your hubbys signature.

If you have reasons for mis sell and have the account number, then put a claim in.

    Thanks amersall,

Yes loan was paid by dd, will try and trace some old bank statements or request them from the bank (have moved a couple of times recently and put them somewhere safe!). I've never had more than one loan at a time and they told me on the phone that since 2008 I haven't had a Barclays loan, I know I did they are the only bank I deal with, which I keep meaning to do something about!
