PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Hi there,
I've got 4 PPI claims that were on hold pending the outcome of the Judicial Review. I have 2 with Black Horse and 2 with Halifax (who are both part of Lloyds). Basically I sent letters off, about all my claims, weeks ago and i've emailed Halifax Customer Services twice, but had no response to any of them! Has anyone got an email address that will possibly give me a response? Possibly the CEO of Lloyds? And if so do you think I could write 1 email to the CEO regarding all 4 complaints, bearing in mind 2 are with Halifax and 2 with Black Horse? Hope this makes sense!!
Thanks in advance X
Hi there
I can't see why not.

Mine have been with Lloyds since before xmas, and I received an email yesterday - they state they are awaiting the regulators guidelines, and will then be as swiftly as possible getting on with complaint in a order of date.
Good luck on all yours.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thanks Di. You are always here to help all of us. Do you ever sleep?! lol.
Yes mine have been with them since early December. Hope we both hear some good news soon then.
Do you think they are likely to reply if I send an email to the address you've gave me? Hope so! I've tried to be so patient.0 -
here's a novel idea. Why don't the banks seek the people they owe instead of greedy lawyers getting the lions share of the money that they have put aside for this debacle?0

Your very welcome x
LOL, well I do eventually nod off:D:rotfl::rotfl:.
Yes, but I am not actually patient, and if I email say today I want that answer tomorrow, so I send them a reminder, then I do end up with a response, even though i email the CEO its normally passed on to the manager at the customer service care team lol.
So as its the weekend, if you send an email now - by the end of the day on Monday you should receive a response.;) Fingers crossed.,
Yes hopefully there will be some good news for us shortly.:);)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Its correct that whoever set up your account from the start is the ones responsible, despite having lenders paperwork/agreement etc.
Except, as GE Money has said, it provided the money for the premium at point of sale and that was arranged by the firm that sold the policy.
It may be possible to persuade FOS that, since the policy cost over £100, GE Money is jointly and severally liable for the missale under the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
However Loans.co.uk is on the FSA register at:
Stansfield House
Chester Business Park
Wrexham Road
Chester
Cheshire
CH4 9FB
Tel 0800 085 1409
Fax 01244 672 190
Fax is good if you have a fax modem because it is cheaper than a letter, gives you a record of what you have said and, importantly, when it was received. If you send it today it will be deemed received as soon as office hours start again (i.e. Monday).
If this can be done, it would provide a route of redress for those sold PPI pre 2005 which is not covered by the FSCS.
I have not looked into this, I am merely indicating that it may be an option.0 -

Hi there
Good luck and hope you receive some good news in the post soon.
Its slow starting again since the JR, most banks say they are waiting for guidelines from the regulators to make sure they redress properly, hopefully we're not waiting much longer now.
Fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi there
Even if you signed, you may still have valid reasons to make a reclaim, so its worth checking on the checklist below to make sure.
Remember though we all have to sign to get a loan, with one of mine it was an automated tick not done in pen then, but check below anyway, good luck.
Thanks Di.
At the end of the day I ticked a box based on what I read, I know it was never explained to me. I'll take a punt and see where it gets me!SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
