I shouldnt think it would have any ill affect on your complaint.
you could do a new questionnaire and send it in and give a covering letter stating the facts and that you made a mistake on the dupilcation of forms or give them a call;):D:p Perfer et obdurai dolor hic tibi proderit olim

Hi All,
I am delighted that I seem to have had some success with RBS...after three letters from them telling me they were looking into my claim, they have now written and said that they don't have enough information to say whether or not I had sufficient info at the point of purchasing PPI.
They have made me an offer, "as an act of goodwill, and accepting no liability"...of my payments for the last six years!
However, I am wondering, ( and this may be a stupid question..) why the last six years? I have had this card for at least ten, or have I missed something?
Also, I want to say thanks for the encouragement and help from this site, which spurred me on to act for myself in reclaiming PPI in the first place,

I have phoned Natwest CC about a PPI claim. Supposedly they are getting back to me within 2 weeks.
I got my card in 2001 and i suspect i will fall into this as well. Judging by earlier posts it doesn't matter when it was taken out. Ikeep seeing the '6 years' mentioned but surely if you were miss sold it, you should get it all back.
Any clarification on this would be appreciated.0 -

Hi
I think a few have received these letters now, the FSA requires them to get on with them as soon as possible, but you could try contacting the FSA to have this clarified yourself just in case, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hiya
That is great, well done!
Maybe they do not hold any info going back any earlier, but if you still have hold of anything, you could forward "copies to them" and ask them if they can also take these into account.
Or give them a ring, see what they say.
Fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks, Di....Sound advice, but sadly I don't have any records going back that long either!
Still, this is really encouraging...I expected more of a fight, to be honest, just need to keep going on my other claims.
I also have a claim against Capital One...which I really was mis sold, ( led to believe it was compulsory..) and they have said no! So, this one is down to the ombudsman..am in a fighting mood now!
