Doh!.......lol, seems like they are all going this way now with the reclaiming procedures doesn't it?:D;)
It does Di. Just while your on can i ask another question regarding backing up my claim. I am claiming on the basis of been pushed into taking out the PPI without been fully made aware of what i was paying for. After reading the questionaire i am now thinking i may have other reasons for claiming.
D5 ask if i would of received any pay from my employer if i was off work due to sickness or if i was made redundant. I would of received full pay for a set length of time (i will have to look into my employment contract) & then statuary sick pay, if made redundant i would of been paid out more than the loan was worth.
D6 asks if i would of had any means of making repayments if sick, accident or unemployment. My parents who were quite well off would of helped me out with the repayments
Would these also be a reason for miss selling??
Thanks,

Hiya
And yes you can, you may have to just forward your complaint on to Santander, step 3 below - reclaiming questionnaire.
Complete and send to the above, keep copies and allow about 8 weeks for a decision, good luck.

Hello,
I don't suppose anyone has knowledge of any successes with Marks and Spencer for either loans or Credit Cards? Their website has the following message since the JR announcement:-
"M&S Money will be implementing the FSA's policy statement in full. We are now reviewing both new complaints and any 'on hold' complaints pending the outcome of the legal proceedings. Complaints will be measured against the standards set out by the FSA and, where appropriate, we will be paying compensation."
I have just asked for some information from them as I had PPI on a CC from Oct 2003 to Sept 2010 and I have absolutely no idea how it was sold to me or placed on the account. I am a public sector worker and my terms and conditions offer 6 months sick pay, 6 months half pay and up to 12 months on Pension Rate pay. In addition, if made redundant up to 3 years salary (or at least back in 2003 anyway). Assuming the benefits of the policy weren't any better than that, I am doubtful I would have taken it on if it had been properly explained to me. I have asked for a copy of the agreement so is it best to wait until I have that and then perhaps lodge a complaint with them?

Any information you ask for will not tell you how you came to have the ppi.
If you need the agreement for the account number then wait for this, if you already have the account number then you can put a claim in.
Look here for reasons for mis sell

If any/all apply to you then get a complaint in.
They may ask why you have just realised you were mis sold this ppi, when the ppi amount will show on every statement that you recieved.
But they may not, so jump that hurdle if you come to it.There have been a lot of cc wins so you never know.
The reasons you gave in your post can be used as well.0 -
Spent the last couple of weeks emailing Natwest and RBS regarding my second of two claims against them. This one had been put on hold in November bang on the 8 week deadline. Today I finally received a letter from RBS telling me again that my claim had been put on hold due to the nasty PPI court case, and that now they "are pleased that the court case is now complete and we are now able to progress your complaint". How lovely!?! Poor RBS and the ridiculous FSA, and that now RBS are working very hard to provide me with their reasons for rejection, sorry decsion.
"We will be responding to customers in the order that complaints were recieved so you don't need to do anything in response to this letter."
This may help answer a few RBS customers who have complained are in a similar situation.0 -

Hiya
Thank you for your update, and yes I'm sure this will be a help to others - to give them an idea now on what to expect in the post.
That's great cheers and all the best with yours too.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
