Hi,
I took out a loan with Yorkshire bank 3 years ago with PPI. This was consolidated with the previous loan which also had PPI. I have just paid off the loan in full. Can you please tell me if I would be entitled to any refund? Can I add that I agreed for PPI on the loan I took out 3 years ago0 -

Hi there
If you settled early I assumed you would be entitled to a refund, however ask them for a written breakdown (detailed) they should still hold these details, and maybe someone can check them out on here for you, they may have just reduced it by a rebate sort of thing.
Or, post on a separate thread below, subject/title it " Am I entitled to PPI refund?" and someone will post up who will know the answers on this for you.

Hi everyone
Never posted but been reading for a while. I am one of those who have used a company to help me get my ppi back, unfortunately I hadn't read any of your comments before I did this otherwise I could have done it myself:embarasse Never mind ayy I have some others I might try on my own. Back to the point. No rejection letter or anything like that received but today I received a letter from First plus stating that it is now 5 years since I took out the loan and on the 12th June the original ppi will expire. Whats that about??? I took out the loan over 25 years!!!! The letter looks like I only took it out over 5 years. Whats this all about. Thanks for your help guys:T
This ppi after 5 years with FP you get the ppi total back(if you have no arrears or claimed on the ppi previous).... but the ppi total is still on your loan to term end with interest, it is in your best interest to reclaim the ppi and your loan will be reset without ppi, the total ppi comes off your balance (so less interest they can get from you ) your monthly payment goes down by the ppi amount and you get all the monthly ppi back that you have paid to date with interest.0 -

Am I missing something on the article update - I cannot seem to find any link to the template letters for the initial contact with your credit card issuer. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks0

Hi there
The template letter was replaced by a reclaim questionnaire, below link step 3.
Remember to keep copies for your records as well, good luck, and allow up to 8 weeks.
