Hi thanks for replying to me.
If my claim is in the judicial review how long are we talking about pls?
Also i have had two loans that I settled early but with no ppi attached both were secured .
This was through a financial advisor who at the time encouraged me to have the debt included with my mortgage so now I have a house that has barely any equity and I am paying interest only.
Sorry to rattle on but I feel I have been hoodwinked.
It seemed a good idea at the time.
Now i am on DMP(Payplan) and things are getting better
    Thanks in advance

    Hiya

The JR issue went to court in January and it went on for 4 days, its heard that a decision have been made but we are now just waiting for the announcement, so this may hopefully be in the next week or 2 with a bit of luck.

So you did not take out any ppi on the 2 secured loans?
If this is the case then you do not have to make a reclaim then.;)
    (is this correct)?

Is the problem the mortgage itself?
If so then there is also a mortgage thread as below link which you may find helpful, and in regards of hardship there is another thread called debtfreewannabe, also posted below which you may find useful, many on there have DMP arrangement plans.

Sorry If I have misread on this though.

However, we are to to help you on ppi.:);)

Good Thanks, Hope you're well to.

On Easter hols so the rest is always nice:j. Just hope JR goes in the consumers favour. Was gonna write a letter this afternoon but as Amersall suggested it is probably not worth it. So like yourself and many others , we sit and cross fingers.

    Keep Well

Hiya, not too bad thank you.

Yes that is right, so lets hope the decision will be announced by Easter.
I will see what happens in the next fortnight as well.

    Fingers crossed.:);) x

    Hi

Yesterday I received a reply from Egg and today I got another letter stating about this Judical review thingy, is it normal to get two letters a day after each other?
i got exactly the same 2 weeks ago one to confirm they received my complaint and next day one to tell me it was on hold was well disappointed as so many have been paid out by egg in the last few weeks.we'll just need to keep our fingers crossed

Hi, I only sent my letter off to Egg on the 7th April and they have replied already, just basicaly stating that they have received my complaint. I also sent one, before this one, to Natwest but still have not had a reply, how long should I wait until I get a reply?

I really do wish that I had done the First Plus claim and another couple of credit cards myself instead of instructing a company - but I didnt realise about this site then and I presume its too late now!

I must tell you this cos its partly this site giving me confidence that I did what I did!! I was quite pleased yesterday with myself cos I genuinely thought that I had cancelled all my direct debits with my Nationwide current account (my salary is just paid into there but that more or less coveres the mortgage) bascially because they shut our local branch down and I couldnt get any other money into the account as the only branch near here is too far away!! So anyways I get a call last month stating that I had gone overdrawn and I didnt know why, when on questioning I apparently still had direct debits trying to be claimed!! Thus resulting in bank charges thus making me go over the overdraft limit! So I kicked off, told them that we were stuggling as my oh had been made redundant a couple of times in just over a year and had to take a job with a lot less money, and they sent me a form to fill in, which I did. They then rang me to inform me I was a whole £2.30 overdrawn this month, so I wrote a "snotty" letter and also informing them that I hadnt heard back about the form I had sent!! Anyway got a letter yesterday stating that they are going to refund last month's bank charges and take off any for this month!!! I was so pleased I had to just tell you all!! I know its not much (£95 last month and was to be £85 this month) but every little helps!!

Good for you not letting it lie. Well done. Whatever the amount its better in your pocket than theirs. :T:T

    Hi,

Yesterday i got a phone call from uclaim asking if i would be interested in claiming for previous PPI. They said they would handle everything but for 30% no win no fee.

I know i could do it myself but don't have much time at the moment, was wondering if anyone could recommend a good company to handle my PPI claims??

    Thanks

    Claiming mis sell..DIY
Letter to bank (in own handwriting) with account number.

    Dear sir/ madam.
I believe i was mis sold ppi on the above account for the reasons given below.........(put your reasons)
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance#checklist
Pop it in an envelope and walk to the post office, send it recorded delivery (keep a copy) and give them 8 weeks to respond.

Total cost.... the price of the recorded postage.

    claiming with company
As above but with a standard template letter (maybe even from this site)
    Total cost 30% PLUS VAT.

No contest, you will get all the help you need on this site for free, you have posted on here and writing a few lines in your own words will take just a bit longer than the time it took you to post here asking about a claim company.
Please give it a go your self and you will be suprised.
It is your money and you should not give 30% plus vat away to someone who will do the same as you can.
you will not get a faster result or more money back by using a claim company (no matter what they tell you).
