Hiya
"If the banks win this review, your chances of getting compensation will drop dramatically, so it's worth getting your complaint in quickly, so you stand a chance of a payout before the review is decided.
However this is resolved, there will be one big group of people lamenting how unfair it is. This is your chance to make sure you're not in that group".
It will surely be cause for complaint if we did get our claims in some time ago but the banks have stalled in giving an answer because of the JR. Also I believe they have been postponing a decision on cases that were not subject to the JR.
Will this then be a case for the FOS to decide?0 -

I totally agree with you.
Have you noticed that some such as Halifax have made a start to paying out come reclaims that have originally been held up because of the JR?
One week they received letters that they were unable to investigate, blah blah....JR, and within days they have received letters to say they have upheld, there was one posted on here the other day, so lets hope that means something.
Roll on for this Wednesday for the outcome.
And I assume then it may be the matter of the FOS otherwise. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
In a nutshell due to not having my loan agreement to hand should i complete a SAR or just go for the kill with a letter explaining i believe i have been mis sold PPI? Am i right in thinking what you are saying is forget about dates & amounts just complain with my account number the reason for mis selling?
Thanks again,

Hi Tony
That is correct, as long as you have your reasons for making a reclaim and your account number that is a good start, sometimes they send you a copy of the agreement this way with a letter, not always.
You can always request for a written breakdown if successful later on.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hello everyone!
I'm both excited and a wee bit worried about the 20th date (as I'm sure some others are!). However, I only just sent off four terms and conditions request letters (recorded delivery) on 11th April, asking for a response within 14 days!!
As bflare asked previously, I'm now thinking of asking my OH to complete the questionnaires, to be sent off tomorrow (18th).
Can anyone see a conflict with the terms & conditions request I made that's already in the system, or should we just go ahead anyhow (admittedly, others on the forum have previously suggested going straight to the questionnaire, as long as the reasons are clear)? My OH knows the reasons for mis-sell. I guess all the talk of the JR decision with a date has crystallised it for me! Many thanks as always0 -

Hiya
They will or should still comply to your request of your agreement/terms and conditions if you have already requested for these, but you can still continue to make the reclaim on the PPI if you want to, don't let anything hold you back, I say go for it.;)
Hopefully the outcome of the JR will be a good one, fingers crossed, I have a few held up due to this.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks di3004 - will sit down with my OH later on and get on with it! To speed things up, I'll send the questionnaires to the complaints department and look on the A-Z of addresses, and then they have 8 weeks. Unless anyone says otherwise to sending them to the complaints department?!?0

Your very welcome.;)
If they have a complaints dept that is fine, or otherwise the main head office.
Ask if your unable to find them. xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Can anyone advise on if the FOS will act on more than one case? They have agreed to take up two PPI issues I have with NW/RBS, but I've just received the same "holding letter" from Barclaycard/morgan stanley. What do ya think?

Hiya
I can't see why not, I believe you can have as many as you want within the FOS, and its possible they will all be split with different adjudicators anyway.
The Judicial Review decision is handed down this coming Wednesday, so before I think about the FOS, think I will see what the outcome is first on Wednesday.
Good luck on all your reclaims.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
