Thanks for the quick response
The loan taken did state that only one person was covered - though I still feel the agreement was unfair.
The other loan was more than 6 years ago, though the settlement was in 2006. The bank have stated they have no paperwork for the agreement, though they are adamant there was no PPI
I have also just received news of a £320 refund from Egg for PPI which is a result - thanks MSE!!!
Well done on getting a result with Egg :T:T And good luck with the rest of your claims.Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

So I have just wrote the SAR for a loan I had with welcome finance, i shall send that with a cheque for £10 and wait for 40 days. I need it as I have none of the paperwork and don't even know what my account number was. The loan is no longer in force.0

Hi there
In that case the paperwork may be useful then.
That is correct 40 calendar days they have to comply with the SAR, and when it comes to reclaiming, the normal timescales of that one is generally 8 weeks, although they may resolve before that, or even ask for more time in writing.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Brilliant thank you. I thought it might be easier to have the paperwork as I have literally got rid of all the paperwork I did have and then I will do the questionnaire.
Hmm I will see how I get on and if I do ok I might suggest this to my mum as she had a car loan through yes car credit and I remember when we went on the day how they said we couldn't have the car without it. So should have walked away then!0 -

Good one and your certainly on the right track :T.
Yes if your mum was mis sold the insurance as well, it could be worth her while in making a reclaim.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
