Hi all, just a quick 1. Do i do 3 seperate complaints on my PPI for the 3 different loans I had or do them all together?????????????? I've just sent off today a letter asking for my credit agreements....Hope they still have them........xxxx

    Hi

This is up to you, you can do if you have all the same reasons for being mis sold, but personally even though its more work, but quite straight forward I would keep them separately.
If you decide to want to make a reclaim on all 3 on the same complaint, make sure you enclose all account numbers that apply.;) XX

lol don't worry we all get like that at times lol :rotfl::rotfl:.

For copies of loan agreements, generally you enclose £1 for each account. So that would be £3 cheque or postal order payments, or you can do these separate also.;):)

  • Hi

I'm trying to claim back PPI on my credit card accounts. I've written to Lloyds TSB and requested the list of charges they have charged me (using this template moneysavingexpert.com/redir/c2894441 ). After ignoring my first request, and then chasing them they have replied stating "We are unable to immediately provide you with a fully comprehensive list of all insurance charges made as our records only go back 6 months and if you have kept statements, please let us have copies". I don't have statements hence the initial request! What can I do next? Is there any guidelines to follow?

    thanks in advance
    James
  • Sorry also meant to add that they stated that they can send me statements but they will charge £6 for EACH of these!!! Help!

Wow, first they cant get you the information as they say it only goes back 6 months, then all of a sudden their saying they CAN get it for you but at a fee. Mmmmm I think someone is telling you porkies and sounds like they are trying to put you off. The fee is £1 per agreement you made for each loans/credit cards. I am about to try and get mine back. To be honest I only found out a few days ago I even had PPI on my loans dating 2001, 2003 and 2006. I went into the bank because I had overpaid on my last loan (which has now been paid off) but I was getting so messed about over the phone I went in to see them (they would'nt give it me back). It was then the lady helping me with that query told me if I was aware I had PPI and said I should claim it back. She was able to tell me what years I had the loans, that I had PPI on all of them and the amounts I had on each so they must still have yours on their system aswell.....

I would send another letter asking them what you want and for however many loans/credit cards you have enclose a cheque or postal order for £1 for each of them. I think as long as you have the account numbers you should be okay to carry on, but if you can get the full "credit agreement"that woud be better. Now before I go dont quote me on any of this wait for other responses before continuing. If anyone thinks I have mis told the following please correct me....good luck.:D

    Hi James
It seems to work out more expensive by just requesting for the statements.
What you could do instead - all for £10 cheque/postal order is request a SAR, they have 40 calendar days to supply all the data they still hold on the account.
There is a template letter on the link below, tweak to your requirements if you want to.

Give them the account number on the SAR as well.
Hope this helps and good luck.

  • Hi

I have received a letter from Egg Bank today saying my claim for PPI has been upheld and they will be refunding all premiums charged to my account for the last 6 years however as I have an outstanding balance the payment will be applied directly to my Egg account.

My account is not in arrears and monthly payments are met therefore is anyone able to advise if they can do this.

    Thanks in advance
