Hiya
And yes I believe you can.
Dunstonh is the one that can help with this, if you stay within the PPI reclaiming threads, I would post your very own thread, it won't get missed and dunstonh should be along to give some advice on this.
You can subject it as "Mortgage PPI help wanted".
Good luck.;)
Thank you for you help; I will do that.0 -

Hi,
I've finally had some good news from the FOS regarding my complaint against Lloyds TSB for credit card PPI.
The adjudicator emailed me this morning saying that they wrote to LLoyds on 04 Feb explaining the reasons why they are upholding my complaint. At the moment they are awaiting a response from them.
Can anyone shed any light on what the next step is likely to and on average how long it takes Lloyds to respond?
Thanks for all your help everyone.0 -

Hiya
That is well done!:T
Well hopefully lloyds will accept and agree the decision made by the adjudicator, if they don't then your case will then be moved on to the actual ombudsman, who again mostly agrees with the adjudicators decision.
The adjudicator I believe will be in touch over the next 2 weeks from the date they sent the decision to lloyds, so fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hello there,
I hate to be a bore but I'm new to all this and have got myself terribly confused about how I start claiming my PPI back.
I was mis-sold by the insurance by EGG back in 2007. I was told PPI was mandatory. The loan was for 24,000 and the insurance was 5191.92 a sizeable sum. The loan is nearly paid off but i have recently fallen behind with payments as my business has been hit hard by the recession
I have downloaded the questionnaire that i will duly fill out. Once filled out am i right to assume I send this to EGG along with a covering letter? Is there a template for a covering letter?
I'm sorry if this is covering old ground but it's difficult to think straight sometimes with the weight of my debt.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Alan and welcome
Your on the right track of completing the reclaiming questionnaire, this actually replaced the template letter, but you can optionally send them a cover letter if you want to.
There is no actual template on a cover letter, but if you have further information to give then you can add about this on the letter.
And if it was EGG that sold and set up your account, its them you pursue, so seems like your well prepared, good one and good luck, please keep us posted.
Cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thank you. Thats made it clearer to me. I have all my original paper work so don't have to send off for that.
I'll let you know how I get on. This is a great site.
Nice to realise your not alone in these strange times.
