If anyone can advise will be very grateful, spent forever trying!!!
Hi hun, I see bathgatebuyer has explained how to do this, any further problems let us now.;)
You can still post on this one of any help if you want to, that is not a problem either, not unless of course you want to keep your thread separate sort of thing.:D
Have received your message anyway, thanks.
Have sent one back to you as well.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Ellbee
You seem to have been hanging around for ages. Do you mean an adjudicator rather than an Ombudsman. It usually goes onto an Ombudsman if a decision is not able to be agreed with the Ombudsman. It does unfortunately seem to be taking a lot of time for decisions to be made. I have also heard rumour about Loans .co.uk but nothing concrete so lets keep our fingers crossed for you.
I hope all goes well with your grand daughter 12 week early is very early. Fingers crossed for you and hope your little girl gets well enough to come out soon.:A[/
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. My complaint has been through the adjudicator who has passed it to an Ombudsman so its their decision I'm waiting on now. I've been reading a lot of the comments on these boards and when I read about successes I feel quite hopeful but then the longer it goes on I feel downhearted thinking I'm going to be one of the cases that's not lucky!! My daughters partner has a friend whose had several successful claims and got several thousands of pounds back and a lot of people on these boards have been lucky so it raises my hopes a bit. I guess its just a matter of waiting a bit longer, although 14 months is a hell of a long time!
My granddaughter's doing well, very tiny (2lbs 7oz!) but doing well, though gives us a bit of stress every now and again as her oxygen levels drop. She's 3 weeks old today and I think she'll be okay, she's a little fighter and already letting everyone know when she's not happy!
Thanks again for your reply.0 -
hi there amersall just read your question from last night my complaint has been with the fos since the beginning of july 08 and was assigned an adjudicator 2 weeks ago if you need any more info please ask and i will help if i can there are plenty of people who helped me especially di she is the best.0

Hi there
Within the FOS they have assessors there to see if you qualify for fast track, although this may also depend on who's desk it lands on, its not always ill health, it can be if your in financial hardship or both etc, they will consider this if you ask and then they will let you know if they can do this.
This will vary from one person to another.
However you may be aware that loans.co.uk were fined for mis selling PPI in 2005, you have a great chance here.
If they do go into liquidation then the FOS will let you know, then the financial compensation scheme should take over this complaint for you.
Check them out here:

Have you tried ringing the FOS as well?
Congratulations as well on the birth of your Grand-daughter, hope all is well..... , I am sure others will post up in regards to your post as well, good luck.

Thanks for your reply. You've made me feel a bit more hopeful now! I knew that Loans.co.uk had been fined but as time goes on I feel as though I'm not going to be one of the lucky ones that wins their case. I guess its just a matter of being patient and keeping my fingers crossed! I haven't phoned the FSO since 9th January so maybe another call next week might be a good idea. I'm trying not to be a nuisance as I imagine they must be up to their eyes in it at the moment!
Thanks for your congratulations! Hannah's 3 weeks old today, weighing in at 2lbs 7oz (very tiny!) but doing well, apart from oxygen levels dropping every now and again to give us a scare! And this is only the beginning!!!

Bathgatebuyer did you tell them that you put this complaint in in 2008?
If not I would ring again on Monday and point this out. The FOS do make mistakes.DS1 12/10/04

I claimed financial hardship with HSBC.I claimed for £4500.The ackowledged that I was in financial difficulty and offered me tiny amount .£650.
I have now spoken to the FO thank you for your advice. The FO asked me to send in the letter from HSBC said not to worry they would deal it,also indicated, not allowed to state.
That I should not doing anything else withHSBC and send all info to them.I did explain the I was in financial difficulty, then said they would re open the case and pass to an ajudicator. However it could take 2 months!
I really need the money now ,I do think that it might be the best thing,I do hope so.
Also HSBC has said the they would review my situation every month and that I would have to go through the IE every time.SPC £500 well will try very hard.
GC £6.16/£1500
