    Hi

Just typing up letters to RBS(2 loans and 2 credit cards) all were taken out at local branch. Should the letters be addressed to local branch or better addressed to head offices.

    Thanks

    Hi there

I assumed it would be the head office, you could take them into your local branch and ask them to forward them for you, but make sure they give you some form of receipt.
Or someone may confirm otherwise, good luck.;)

Have these addresses here as well, maybe someone could confirm which one to send to:

    Hi there Yummy Mummy

Hope you receive your refund soon, it could be because they have so many to pay out in regards of their PPI complaints as they are getting higher....

You could actually come to an agreement with the FOS to about a Letter before action otherwise (LBA), I did have one here but cannot find it, it worked for me, it was just basically telling the company if they did not pay out withing 14 days then further action will be considered or taken, I then received my payment about 10-12 days after sending the letter.

I obviously had to send the FOS a copy of it as well by email attachment and they agreed, hopefully though even though they have stated you should receive this at such a time, with a bit of luck you will receive this sooner, all the best and please let us know.
    Cheers.;)

The FOS have rung me back. They have chased it up and have asked that I give it another 3 weeks due to backlog!!! I think if nothing has transpired in the next 3 weeks I will go down the LBA route.

  • Thanks, I had been planning to send them to head offices but just thought I would double check first.

I would contact them anyway hun, it seems that the Financial ombudsman are unable to deal with this because then GE money were not regulated as such by either GISC or the FSA, so contact the FLA anyway and see what they have to say to you, you should let them know the FOS referred you to these.
Good luck and please keep us posted, in case someone can suggest otherwise some other options here.

    Hi Boo

    Hope you are well.;)

So not worth the £10 then ?

Any transcripts Boo of telephone calls made, dates etc?

If you feel there should be more that you should have received and you a feeling they did not add everything you could write back, there is template letter OTR for this if you want to check this out, or let me know if you want me to try to dig this out and post it to you.

Hi Boo would write again telling them specifically what it is you are wanting and say that you want it sent to you within 1 week. If not give ICO a ring and talk to them to see if they can advise you.:D
