Recieved a letter from the Nasty today saying that due to the legal battle that will take place that they are not prepared to make a decision on my complaint. They say that once a decision from high court is due then they will contact me again. Frustrasted as they are nearly two weeks over the 8 week deadline! They say I contact FOS but I see little point as they will be same with them I imagine.

Anybody know who will probably win? FSA or banks? I remember bank charges!

    Hi

I think that would be the normal procedure to take now, is to contact the FOS.

Really don't know but hopefully the FSA.
    Fingers crossed.;)

  • Hi all, i filed a ppi complaint with central trust/capital in february 2010 as i believed this was mis-sold as my husband was selfemployed at the time.I sent the letter off and within 4 weeks they rejected it,was,nt going to take it to the ombudsman but did in august and was passed to an adjucator in september. The adjucator decided in my favour but just heard today central trust have decided to appeal their decision, has anyone had any similar dealings with this company and does anyone know what my chances are of suceeding, would be greatful for some advice:mad:

    Hi there

Sorry to hear that, but I'm sure its not the end of your case.

The adjudicator should pass this on to the ombudsman and if they also see this in your favour, they MUST comply, and you should also be awarded further redress for distress and inconvenience.

    Yes this happens.

I assume they have mentioned forwarding this to the ombudsman himself for a review??
If not ask them about this, good luck and please keep us posted.

  • Hi Di3004,The adjucator said central trust pointed out a few things she stated that they did,nt agree with so she is going back over the telephone calls they recorded and the other paperwork that they have regarding the case and then decide any different, she has,nt said about senior ombudsman yet.

    Hiya

Arh right, so it looks like your adjudicator has more to go through yet then, good luck with this and if this does fail, its normally then to the ombudsman from there as a standard procedure, but they do still make you aware.
Fingers crossed it will be sorted at this stage anyway.;)
