    Hi there

I have never been in this actual position myself of moving the balance from one to another credit card but I assume lots have done this, and hope they can advise you on this one, you could ask the fos to be sure, they may suggest to hold back for now.

    Good luck with this.;)

Thanks for this, I may ring them tomorrow and get their advice. I'll let you know how I get on :)

Good luck, I'm sure they will know the best thing to do, have the FOS allocated you with a ref number yet?
If not its just a general query anyway, so it will be ok.;)

Well finally recieved a letter from Lloyds TSB about my reclaim and it will be debited to my account within 21 days from recipt of the letter of notification .,,,they dont like parting with it do they and it came to just under £500 with the 8% included so not a bad early christmas present.

Lodged a claim 28th September. They acknowledged and was told on phone that they had sent out acceptance slips upholding my complaint on 8th October. I am told today that because of the judicial review they did not send the slips out and everything is on hold.

    Is this legal/correct?

    Hiya

It seems like everyone are being informed of different things, if you signed the acceptance and agreed, then to what I know of this should still be paid out, afterall its a mutual agreement on both sides and surely they cannot change that now.

So this is Lloyds TSB then?

You could contact the superviser and have a word with him if you can.

    Good luck.

  • Hi Everyone

I first had a Professional Studies loan with Lloyds from 1998-2003. I have none of the paperwork anymore and no account number to quote and don't know the amounts anymore exactly. But when looking at some slightly more recent terms and conditions, it clearly says the payment protection doesn't cover you claiming on it if you are a student and not employed at all. The loan was for full time course fees for a postgraduate course. Is it worth me trying to pursue this at all and asking for terms of the policy at the time, as it finished longer than 6 years ago? It wasn't made clear the policy was optional.

When this loan finished Lloyds rejigged and redid it for me to be a graduate or personal loan to buy a car. This was 2003-2006. I have asked for the terms and conditions of the policy for this loan to be sent to me, with a view to claiming the PPI back as again it wasn't clear that it was optional and I want to check out that I may have been covered for various things through my employer, and I wasn't asked if I had alternate cover. I have an account number but again don't know the exact amounts and the only paperwork I have is a signed loan protection agreement.

In 2006 LLoyds again rejigged/refinanced the loan to enable me to pay off credit cards. I have paperwork, policy and account number and no the amounts involved exactly.

What do people think I should do claiming-wise when the 3 loans almost merge into each other and don't seem to be entirely seperate things?
